the Spate of Recent Race Hoaxes SHOULD BE Very Disturbing....BUT to Our National Media, They're NOT

Recently some high profile threats against black students at Keane University in NJ and the Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan made national headlines.

Alas, the subsequent outcomes of the investigations that proved them to be hoaxes by black students DID NOT. At Keane University, Kayla-Simone McKelvey, who'd just graduated from that college in May, has been charged with third-degree creating a false public alarm, according to an article on NJ.com. Union County prosecutor Grace H. Park stated that McKelvey left in the middle of an anti-racism student rally in November to go to a campus library computer where she created a now-suspended anonymous account with the handle “@keanuagainstblk” and began posting the tweets like; "I will kill every black male and female at Keane University," and "I will kill all the blacks tonight, tomorrow and every day if they go to Keane University," and "Keane University Twitter against blacks is for everyone who hates black people."

Earlier in November, a 21-year-old student at a nearby community college named Emmanuel D. Bowden posted, “I'm going to shoot every black person I can on campus. Starting tomorrow morning,” said the post on Yik Yak an anonymized social media service. The message triggered a police response and a subsequent investigation. As a result of that investigation, Bowden, 21, has been charged with making a false report or threat of terrorism, which carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. While the threats were front page national news, the hoaxes were hardly mentioned...which is kind of odd, when you consider that in cases in which a black perpetrator inflicts violence on whites, when it is highlighted at all, what is highlighted in the perp's "grievances."

When Omar Thornton went on a shooting rampage at his Connecticut workplace back in August of 2010, Thornton's murderous rampage wasn't the story, but instead, the POSSIBILITY that he'd been discriminated against at work was.

The Associated Press account of the murders was reprinted in the Washington Post and throughout America: "To those closest to him, Omar Thornton was caring, quiet and soft-spoken....But underneath, Thornton seethed with a sense of racial injustice for years that culminated in a shooting rampage Tuesday in which the Connecticut man killed eight and wounded two others at his job at Hartford Distributors in Manchester before killing himself. “I know what pushed him over the edge was all the racial stuff that was happening at work,” said his girlfriend, Kristi Hannah. “He always felt like he was being discriminated [against] because he was black,” said Jessica Anne Brocuglio, his former girlfriend. “Basically they wouldn’t give him pay raises. He never felt like they accepted him as a hard working person.” Thornton changed jobs a few times because he was not getting raises, Brocuglio said."

The New York Times’s August 3 headline read: “Troubles Preceded Connecticut Workplace Killing,” and in the second paragraph, the Times reported: “He might also have had cause to be angry: he had complained to his girlfriend of being racially harassed at work, the woman’s mother said, and lamented that his grievances had gone unaddressed.”

On August 7th, just four days after the shootings, the Washington Post’s headline read, “Beer warehouse shooter long complained of racism.”

In FACT, just before he started shooting, Thornton had been told he had the choice of quitting or being fired for stealing beer, and there was video proof of his doing so.

But that fact, the one and ONLY indisputable and the fact that is the most pertinent pre-murder fact, got lost within the larger context of Thornton’s claims of being a victim...of whites.

As Dennis Prager said, "Those preoccupied with Thornton’s charges of workplace racism might wish to reflect on this: Racists and otherwise bigoted murderers always blame their victims. Medieval Christians who murdered Jews blamed the Jews for poisoning wells, using Christian children’s blood in making their matzo, or some other terrible crime. That's why such racial hoaxes are so very dangerous.

The FALSE COMFORT in “Gun Control”

Those who think gun bans and other "severe restrictions" can reduce gun violence are being naively foolish.

GUNS (yes, even VERY HIGH QUALITY ones) are very easy to make, so is ammunition. Even a nation as poor and as backward as the Philippines is awash in "backyard gun shops" because of the immoral and degenerate anti-gun laws of that government. (SEE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fna9WEO6BjE)

In the USA we have millions of people with veritable machine shops in their basements and those people can very easily make high quality firearms. Such people are NOT "the problem." The guns they'd make are NOT "the problem." Nor are those like Cody Miller (https://reason.com/blog/2013/05/08/3d-guns-advocate-cody-wilson-is-about-mo), nor Andy Greenberg, author of the article, “I Made an Untraceable AR-15 ‘Ghost Gun’ in My Office - And It Was Easy” (http://www.wired.com/2015/06/i-made-an-untraceable-ar-15-ghost-gun/). Mental defectives and various zealots ARE very much "the problem."

NOTHING is going to "fix" such people and little to nothing (legally speaking) is going to stop such determined people BEFORE they act.

That said, we HAVE laws that bar people with felony convictions and mental/emotional health problems from LEGALLY purchasing guns. The idea that HIPPA laws “make it difficult to enforce the mental health aspects of those laws” is a canard. Once a person applies for a gun license they are voluntarily surrendering those HIPPA protections as a condition of that application.

Personally, I’d go even further. Anyone on a “No Fly” list should be barred from purchasing a firearm, BUT the burden of proof lies with the State. An immediate “hearing” must be able to be demanded by ANY citizen at any time and if the government cannot meet its burden of proof on the spot, that individual must be released from that list.

THAT is NOT an “undue burden” on government.

I’d even go so far as to maintain that anyone sentenced to “Anger management” for offenses like “Road rage”/aggressive driving, or various domestic offenses also be barred from legally purchasing guns.

BUT nothing short of a ban on the production of guns, even, perhaps ESPECIALLY for police and military purposes could dramatically reduce gun violence in places like the U.S.

YES, it’s true that those people inclined toward mayhem and murder WILL BE able to get, or find ways to make “ghost guns,” but, once again, guns already are NOT the “weapon of choice” that jihadists and various militia groups are going to rely on. Jihadists primarily rely upon bombs and militia groups have not been a major problem as yet, outside of a few select areas (Idaho, Texas, etc.)

A few years ago, in the midst of the concerns over “missing USSR stockpiled suitcase nukes,” it was believed that at least one U.S.-based militia group had come to acquire such weaponry.

Those fears faded as time passed, with “experts” believing that, “If such a group possessed such weapons, they’d attempt to use them very quickly.” That may not be sound reasoning. Given that most such militia groups are comprised of former military members, caution and deliberate planning seem more the order of the day.

The future of mass killing lies in genetics. At least three militia groups in the U.S. have been in contact with geneticists from places like Hong Kong and the Ukraine. The thought is that targeted, very specifically targeted genetic warfare may very well become the “order of the day” in the near future. The idea of such scientists willingly cooperating with such “rogue groups” is probably very frightening to many people, but it shouldn’t be all that surprising. After all, scientists and researchers exist in the same political and moral fever swamps we all do today and many, despite relying on government grants for much of their research, also harbor strong suspicions, even hostility toward many of the world’s governments today.

So, for a time, it could become very challenging to be an “elected official,” but it’s doubtful that such targeted “genetic terrorism” would impact the average citizens of any country. These are not genetic diseases that would target entire populations, but instead, ones specifically designed to target specific bloodlines, even targeted to specific family groups!

Given the vast array of weaponry that’s available and “out there,” it’s naïve and foolish to really believe that gun control measures, no matter how draconian, would eliminate, or even substantially reduce the threat of violence people face each day.

In fact, it could well be argued that the unseen (perhaps even unknown) threats are far graver than those we see day-to-day.

WHAT'S With the NY Daily News?

Did everyone at the NY Daily News suddenly come down with severe brain damage?

Were they all collectively beaten with the proverbial "Stupid Stick?"

They were among the first to call the Colorado Planned Parenthood shooter a "terrorist," he was not. He was not a part of any organized group...and YES, terrorism is, by definition, violent activity carried out by an organization or group, often "State sponsored," as in Islamic jihadism.

They are also consistently among the first to blame guns for the actions of deranged people, be they kooks, or various TERRORISTS, mostly Islamic jihadists, or other assorted "god botherers." (http://www.nydailynews.com/opinion/editorial-making-mass-murder-easy-article-1.2454576).

Today (Friday, December 4th, 2015) they slimed a San Bernardino victim of jihadist terrorism (that's actual terrorism, NOT some lone nut) Nicholas Thalasinos for (GULP!) supporting every American's sacred DUTY to self defense...and the NRA, a group devoted to protecting that duty, which is also a Natural Right. WHY does the NY Daily News insist on getting this issue so dangerously and yes...stupidly wrong?

WoW! Is THIS Incompetence, or....Something Else?

It now appears that the FBI apparently made the decision to hand back the apartment of Rizwan Farook and his wife to the landlord (Doyle Miller) who immediately opened it up to the media (allegedly for pay).

One CNN law enforcement expert noted that he saw, "No fingerprint dust residue around the apartment," and noted that in such cases, "Such crime scenes are often kept locked down for months!" (http://pamelageller.com/2015/12/san-bernardino-jihad-home-they-released-the-crime-scene.html/)

Is this "the newer, friendlier FBI," OR is it just your garden variety incompetence?

Farook's wife (Tashfeen Malik) reportedly posted about the murders and swore allegiance to ISIS on her Facebook account just around the time the killings began.

Speaking of incompetence, WHAT do you think John Kerry (and others) claiming that "Islamic extremism and jihadist terror" is "driven by poverty and a lack of jobs" all about?

Personally, I have no trouble at all, seeing Kerry and other similar-minded adults as clueless incompetents. FACT is, violent crime itself is NOT triggered by poverty at all. That was proven mathematically (I know...the English Lit and history majors in our media majored in such subjects specifically because most of them can't do math) back in 1983. Suffice to say, IF poverty caused or triggered violent crime, then Depression Era America would've been far more violent than urban America is today (it WASN'T) and even today, Appalachia and other pockets of rural poverty would be far more violent than urban America, as they are far poorer...and they AREN'T.

It would seem that John Kerry and his ilk either never heard of all that...OR just didn't understand it. That goes to INCOMPETENCE in either case.

So, I guess the FBI's apparent incompetence over allowing this crime scene to be taken over by the media is thoroughly consistent with the incompetence that leaches down from the top in this administration.

The Misplaced Anger of the Perpetual Victim Class

Amanda Kijera was on a humanitarian trip to Haiti, when she was violently raped by a Haitian man...who (like most Haitians) was black. The irony was that Ms. Kijera was actually in Haiti to dispel the “myths” that violence against women on the island was being overstated by various women’s rights organizations. Her intention in making the trip was to push back on the portrayal of black men as “savages” in the media...(Hmmmm....OK, but I don't see that portrayal all that much in the U.S. media that I've seen)...Her hope was that she would be able to dispel many misconceptions and push back against "culturally biased" views imposed by “the white man.”

Yes, of course, as you may have guessed, Amanda Kijera IS white.

Sadly, Amanda Kijera’s trip took a very violent turn for the worse when one of the men she’d worked to protect cornered her on the rooftop, and raped her repeatedly.

“The experience was almost more than I could bear,” Kijera wrote about the incident, “I pleaded with him to honor my commitment to Haiti, to him as a brother in the mutual struggle for an end to our common oppression, but to no avail. He didn’t care.”

In her view, however, her attacker wasn’t primarily to blame. In writing about her ordeal she said, “Women are not the source of their oppression; oppressive policies and the as-yet unaddressed white patriarchy which still dominates the global stage are.” She went on to plead that it is up to the United Nations to support people who are forced to bear the brunt of black male aggression.

Amanda Kijera's plight proves that while you CAN educate the ignorant (those with a lack of knowledge) you CANNOT educate the stupid (those unable to process knowledge).

I'm sure she's a College educated woman and that only proves that the great (albeit elitist) Charles Murray was right when he said, "That to actually understand and process College level work on must possess an IQ of at least 115." Since the vast majority of College students today DO NOT possess IQs that high, that education is, more often than not, wasted upon them.

Amanda Kijera shows that she knows how to parrot idiotic phrases like, "white male patriarchy," fed to her by equally muddled-thinking "professors."

The FACT is patriarchy has been around as long as mankind has...it's NOT a "white male thing." Ironically enough, neither is "racism," nor bigotry, which she proves by her own anti-white and anti-male rantings.

There is truth to the “Law of Attraction,” to the extent that we DO seem to manifest, or draw to ourselves that which we focus upon most intently. Negative people tend to bring ever more negativity into their own lives, while more positive people tend to bring positive things into theirs. So, people obsessed with victim's status and oppression are generally deserving of being victimized and oppressed, in that we each bring onto ourselves those things that we focus on.

To people who obsess and focus almost exclusively upon the negative, all that can be said is, "Enjoy you oppression Amanda Kijera...you've certainly earned it."

With "Friends" Like Turkey...

There's no way to defend Turkey's downing a Russian warplane on the Syrian border and machine gunning its parachuting crew...killing one (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3333630/First-pictures-emerge-Russian-pilot-killed-Turkish-F-16-shot-jet-Syria-plus-pilot-survived-infantryman-killed-daring-rescue-mission.html)

If a Russian ally (say, Chechnia) had shot down an American warplane in that same region and shot at its parachuting crew, Americans would be demanding immediate and strong reprisals.

This ain't team sports.

What's RIGHT....is RIGHT and in this case, Turkey is clearly wrong.

There's no reason for the West (especially America) to back Turkey on this. In fact, we SHOULD BE forcing Turkey to apologize, condemn those actions and make the appropriate restitution for those rogue actions.

It seems that at every turn in this "War on Terror" the USA has done everything to scuttle a golden opportunity to find common ground with Russia over a common scourge.

G W Bush failed miserably and Barack Obama hasn't done much of anything to improve relations between two great powers that SHOULD be aligned against this common global problem (jihadist terrorism).

THIS is the kind of thing that makes such efforts much, MUCH less likely to succeed.

The Naked Truth About Diversity Training...

I was recently very pleased to come across a great article by Peter Bregman (https://hbr.org/2012/03/diversity-training-doesnt-work).

In it, Mr. Bregman notes that, “Diversity training doesn’t extinguish prejudice. It promotes it,” adding, “At first glance, the first training — the one that outlined what people could and couldn’t say — didn’t seem to hurt. But on further inspection, it turns out it did.”

Bregman acknowledges that, “People aren’t prejudiced against real people; they’re prejudiced against categories. “Sure, John is gay,” they’ll say, “but he’s not like other gays.” Their problem isn’t with John, but with gay people in general, and adds that it’s categories themselves that are dehumanizing.”

Perhaps Mr. Bregman’s deepest insight is that, “When people divide into categories to illustrate the idea of diversity, it reinforces the idea of the categories.”

I largely agree with this article. Most petty bigotries are rooted in a nebulous "other," by the viewer and do not hold up when they meet actual individuals. Whereas “groups” and “movements” can seem threatening and contentious, most individuals are not.

The problem with diversity training is that it all too often unwittingly, or not, promotes a pernicious ideological and ethnic bigotry of its own. To be effective in truly promoting “inclusion” and “tolerance” it MUST BE non-judgmental in its approach to ALL ideologies, regardless of how un-inclusive some of those ideologies might be.

IF the idea is to get people to learn to "live together" (inclusion), that can't be done by demonizing SOME, as that approach itself is rooted in exclusion.

For instance, one of the problems with "race-based" diversity training is that it STILL insists on using racial constructs to oppose racism. IF racism and bigotry are wrong (and they ARE), then so is ALL "race consciousness," ALL "counting by race" & ALL race-based "remedies." Ending "racism" as we've come to know it, requires the end of the very concept of race and replacing it with a much more neutral concept of "ethnicity." This is why a Pro-Black Agenda IS every bit as "racist" & WRONG as a Pro-White one & why sanctioned "Black Groups," or "Women's Groups" are every bit as pernicious as are exclusively "White and male GROUPS."

Ending “racism” requires more than what Chief Justice Roberts said, “STOP counting by race,” but for us to STOP looking at race as the all-defining construct that it is not.

IF the problem is exclusivity (and it IS), then the antidote is NOT continuing to utilize exclusivity.
