“Progressive Values” on Display....

To Progressives, protecting the “free speech rights” of admitted perverts like Peter Melzer (pictured above) a former NYC public schools teacher who is an admitted member of NAMBLA (the North American Man-Boy Love Association – a pedophile’s Union), who has acknowledged that he was drawn to teaching because of the access to children and that he’s traveled to other countries explicitly to engage in sex with young boys, is paramount.

The “free speech rights” of those who oppose excessive taxation (above a 25% total tax burden for anyone), who support strict border enforcement and their innate right to self defense...those, they’re not as passionate about.

Back in the mid-1990s, an investigation into his behaviors cited his "enthusiastic championing of pedophilia, including child pornography and child prostitution" as being among the grounds for dismissal.

Then in 1995 Attorney General Dennis Vacco and Secretary of State Alexander Treadwell sought to revoke the corporate status of Zymurgy Inc., whose directors included "an ex-Bronx teacher (still employed in the Board of Education’s “Rubber Rooms”) who, they claimed “advocated sex between men and boys and still works for the Board of Education.” "

Zymurgy was incorporated in 1994 to "foster" and "advance greater knowledge and understanding of human sexuality" through workshops and lectures, according to papers filed with the state.

Treadwell said, that "it now appears" Zymurgy "is a front" for the controversial group known as the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA), which favors consensual sex between men and boys.

By posing as a legitimate group, Vacco said, Zymurgy was "seeking to promote an offensive agenda, while promoting illegal activity."

One of Zymurgy's directors was Peter Melzer, who’d been removed from his post as a Bronx teacher in 1993, after Board of Education investigators learned he was an editor of the NAMBLA newsletter.

Despite his advocating for pedophilia, Peter Melzer, charged in a Board of Education investigation in 1993, he was held in the Board of Education’s so-called “Rubber Rooms” until 2000 and his dismissal wasn’t finalized until a decision, made public on July 17^th, 2010, in which the panel ruled that Peter Melzer, a teacher at the Bronx High School of Science for more than 30 years, had been justifiably dismissed by the Board of Education in 2000.

NAMBLA was founded over three decades ago, when in December of 1977, police raided a house in the Boston suburb of Revere. Twenty-four men were arrested and indicted on over 100 felony counts of the statutory rape of boys aged eight to fifteen. Suffolk County District Attorney Garrett Byrne found that the men used drugs and video games to lure the boys into a house, where they photographed them as they engaged in sexual activity. The men were members of a "sex ring", and said that the arrest was only "the tip of the iceberg.”

Staff members of the homosexual newspaper Fag Rag believed the raid was politically motivated. They and others in Boston's gay community saw Byrne's round-up as an anti-gay witch-hunt. On December 9 they organized the Boston-Boise Committee, a name intended as a reference to a similar situation that unfolded in Boise, Idaho in the 1950s. The group sponsored rallies, provided funds for the defendants, and tried to educate the public about the case by passing out fliers. It would also later produce NAMBLA.

On December 2, 1978, Tom Reeves of the Boston-Boise Committee convened a meeting called "Man/Boy Love and the Age of Consent." Approximately 150 interested people attended. At the meeting's conclusion, about thirty men and youths decided to form an organization which they called the North American Man/Boy Love Association, or NAMBLA for short.

Ironically enough, Peter Melzer has actually lived in the Yonkers neighborhood for two years, but his neighbors have only recently become aware of his controversial past, because he’s not a convicted sex offender and thus was never required to register with authorities.

Yonkers police have urged neighbors to be vigilant in protecting their children.

”Not all people are bad, but not all people are nice and you don't know when it's a stranger," said local resident Anna Chamberlain.

Of course vigilance, police said, must stop short of harassment despite neighbors' opposition to Melzer's way of life.

It isn't merely that the vast majority of Americans (over 98%) oppose "Melzer's way of life," fact is, Melzer's way of life, like "progressive values" are antithetical to American values.

Wrong on “housing as a human right,” most of those “low income Americans” treated to mortgages they couldn’t afford thanks to Fannie, Freddie, Barney and Dodd among others, are now in foreclosure.

How’s that “human right” working out for you, now?

Wrong on championing illegal immigration for “creating more Democratic voters” - turns out that the vast majority of the Catholic immigrants wind up more socially Conservative and more averse to Democratic policies than most Americans!

And woefully wrong on “welfare rights.” Dolts like the Rathke’s (Dale and Wade) once posited that by overburdening the system, they could bring about socialism.”

FACT, once a support system like that fails, there is an immediate and unavoidable return to what can be best termed “anarcho-Capitalism.”

Today (Tuesday, April 27th, 2010), WCBS News York reported; “Authorities said 32 people, some of them financially well-off, have been indicted in a welfare-fraud crackdown.

“Brooklyn District Attorney Charles J. Hynes said the defendants stole about $1 million in benefits, including welfare, Medicaid and food stamp assistance. Some of the defendants owned homes and businesses.

“Authorities said one couple, who were in real estate, had about $2 million in their bank account at one point.”

Welfare fraud once accounted for over one-third of new York City’s welfare rolls, which is why New York City’s welfare population dropped by a third in the wake of the Gingrich-driven welfare reforms.

Those reforms ultimately dropped New York City’s welfare population from just over 1 million to under 400,000 and in the process saved New York City, at least $20 BILLION per year, based on $25,000/year in welfare benefits across the 800,000 people dropped from the rolls.

What’s the primary force behind the Greek “Debt Bomb?”

Greece rates as one of the most corrupt governments in Europe. No one there can actually tell how many people work in Greece’s private sector!

Moreover, bribes, cronyism and graft (paying for either government positions or to get deals done) is a way of life in Greece. An already finished study, due out within weeks, by the Brookings Institute has found that bribery, patronage graft and rampant government corruption are behind much of Greece’s exploding debt.

Greece’s national debt, is over 100% of its GDP, although the same can be said (to varying, though similar degrees) about all of Europe’s “PIGS” - Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain.

As America’s national debt explodes in the current and ongoing orgy ofd spending, Greece very much should be a warning to America about the cost of malfeasance.

The Myth of the “Working Class Far-Left”....

Wait a minute, that phrase "far left working class kind of guy" is an oxymoron.

People who work for a living DO NOT support higher taxes, or increased social spending, or more foreign aid, or an "expanded public option" in healthcare designed to shift the burden of paying for healthcare FROM businesses and Municipalities (currently, some 97% of American workers are covered by their employers...of the estimated "40 million uninsured Americans," an estimated 17 MILLION are opt-outs, generally younger, healthier workers, who opt out of their workplace health insurance in favor of increased take-home pay, another estimated 15 MILLION are ILLEGAL immigrants, and as such are NOT "Americans"....leaving about 8 MILLION (appx 3%) of American workers uninsured) TO the workers themselves.

The current Pelosi-care would create a public option that would provide a bare-bones expanded public option that virtually EVERY employer would opt to put their employees on. That option would offer heavily restricted care (many state programs cap spending at $10,0000/per patient per year), rationing of care....in fact that's already being done by focusing on cutting reimbursements to physicians who send patients for more and expensive testing (read oncologists and heart specialists), and "paying for it" with CUTS to Medicare.

Most working people no more like the idea of paying MORE for LESS care than they do the prospect of an inane and prohibitive carbon tax based on the now proven-to-be junk science behind "anthropomorphic global warming."

As to your question about who on the left loves Sharia Law...well, apparently MANY on the far-Left admire such hellholes and they even embrace their Third World values, such as Harold Koh (tabbed by President Barack Obama to be the lead legal advisor to the State Department, whom, in a 2007 speech, stated, “In an appropriate case, he didn’t see any reason why sharia law would not be applied to govern a case in the United States.”

And Mr. Koh's view is NOT all that rare in the far-Left precincts.

In one year the American people are witnessing the greatest lie that is cleverly being orchestrated by President Obama and his whole administration. The lie is a potent aggression that feeds the needs of people who either have not educated themselves enough to understand the assault upon us all, or the very poor and needy who live to be taken care of. President Obama feeds these people poison, giving them the idea that they are entitled to take from the wealthier, who have lived and worked in a democracy that understands that Capitalism is the only truth that keeps a nation healthy and fed.

Now the lies goes very deep, and President Obama has been cleverly trained in the Alinsky method, and it would be very important that every American knows what that method is. It is a socialistic, Marxist teaching, and with it, little by little, he rapes this nation, taking down our defenses, making new language for Islamic extremists.

The world who looked on us, as a symbol of hope and prosperity, now wonders..."What will become of the entire world if America is losing its power?"

The American people who understand exactly what is taking place have come together in the thousands, vowing to try and stay together as a unit of love and freedom, for all men and women, from all walks of life, shivering to think that this once great nation will be a third worlds country.

This will be the first President to ever weaken the United States of America. President Obama uses his aggression and arrogance for his own agenda against the American people, when he should be using his will and aggression against our enemies. Every American for peace, and truth, and the security of our nation must come out and join the Tea Parties in their states. The opposition will continue their tactics: they will continue to lie and plant their own bullies amongst us. Everyone must pay close attention to who stands next to them. We can weed out the liars and agitsators.

EVERYONE Should See THIS Documentary - Generation Zero....

Generation Zero is a GREAT documentary that shows how we've gotten to where we are today. It rightfully defines the 1960s as a "revolution against civilization," which, as defined by Edmund Burke, is "a contract between the past (the dead), the present (the living, who are a "bridge between past and future) and the future (those yet to be born)." In rejecting their debt to the past and their responsibilities to the future, the "elites" among the Baby Boomers rejected that eternal compact.


This documentary intertwines history and economics to give excellent insights into why we are where we currently are, both politically and economically.
