The MYTH of the Democrats as "Friends of Working People"

I've long said that the GOP is NOT a good vehicle for working class Conservatives, or working people in general. This past Primary season seems to have proven that out. The GOPe's insistence on "Immigration Reform," as a pathway to more cheap migrant labor and expanding the H-1B Visa program show that all too clearly.

The sad truth is the Democrats are NO BETTER.

So, which Party is the friend of the working class?

Neither!

We have NO friends in politics...and so, no real representation either.

That the Dems are NOT friends has been harder to prove, because they, at least pay "lip service" to working class concerns, but then go right on supporting the SAME cheap labor policies (more H-1B Visas & more ILLEGAL immigration) as Republicans do.

New Jersey is undergoing a pension crisis that could crash that system. The Public Sector Unions know they have no friend in Chris Christie, even though Christie paid more into that State's pension funds than Jon Corzine and Christie Todd Whitman combined!

Perhaps what some DIDN'T expect was the reaction of Senate DEMOCRATS to the Union's insisting that the Democratic representatives they fund, take on this issue.

Yesterday (Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016), NJ State Senate President, Stephen Sweeney (D-Gloucester) sent letters Wednesday asking Attorney General Christopher Porrino and U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman to investigate the New Jersey Education Association, for threatening to withhold campaign contributions unless the Senate passes pension legislation. And they call Trump "an out-of-touch fat cat."

Indeed, on Monday, August 1st, Representatives from the state's teachers' union did contact Democratic party leaders and told them that unless and until there's a vote on a proposed constitutional amendment guaranteeing billions of dollars to the government worker pension fund, they wouldn't be making campaign contributions this year.

Senator Sweeney also expressed the SAME kinds of concerns over his legislative office having received the same kind of "direct threat" from Bob Fox, president of the Fraternal Order of Police. Fox also reportedly said that no state senator would receive a contribution from the union until the resolution to put the referendum on the ballot is passed, according to an internal email describing the phone message.

So there is the response from DEMOCRATIC "friends of the working class" to Unions that simply refuse to continue supporting the politicians that are actively working AGAINST their own best interests. Maybe the strategy is t let these pension systems crash and then pick up the pieces are drastically reduced settlements with retired workers. It's already happened elsewhere.

Look, if you're a working person in this country...you have NO friends in politics. They'll gladly take your money, but when it comes time for pols like Sweeney and many, MANY others to actually act...well, you can't expect much.

No one can legally force public sector Unions to contribute to campaigns. Maybe they all should be far more judicious with their money!

Arrogance and the Presidency

My response is: No DB, arrogance is ALWAYS a flaw, NEVER a virtue. I'll admit that Trump earned some of his arrogance (“It ain’t bragging IF you can back it up,” even though no amount of arrogance is very pretty), along with his billions, but Bill and Hillary did nothing more than win a few popularity contests (elections).

Bill Clinton got into Harvard on a "geographic preference" (he was, "The smartest hillbilly in the hollers"), Hillary (gender preferences), Obama (race and national origin preferences...yes, he applied to at least Occidental College as a student from Indonesia) and yes, G W Bush (Donor Preferences)...the SAME. All of them were on the receiving end of various preference programs.

Hillary, like Obama, is wholly unable to deal with the ISIS threat. Benghazi proved that.

I don't think many Democrats really understand the actual appeal of BOTH Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders (his AIN'T "socialism”). They were BOTH "Thumbs in the eye" of our failed political class.

Sure, Bernie turned out to be a fraud...hell, he was tossed out of a commune in New Hampshire for failing to pull his weight, so who couldn't see that coming?

Trump is NOT popular because he’s widely seen as a great leader, merely because he’s NOT "one of them"...the political class.

For many, right now, that's enough.

Since the “Rape of Cologne,” not only Germany, but ALL of Europe is in an uproar over what is perceived to be a policy of “De-Europeanization” for Europe. Sweden, France, Belgium and England have all had their own major problems with Muslim invaders who are openly seeking to transform Europe into “Eurabia,” a part of a greater global Islamic Caliphate.

The failed economic and social policies of the globalist Left have resulted in the rise of the Right in Europe, which SHOULD BE good news for BOTH America and Russia.

Russia, under Vladimir Putin has strongly resisted Western globalism – a U.S.-led global hegemony.

America’s government must ultimately get on board with that, because the bulk of the American people already reject any kind of global hegemony. They are right to reject that...and they are NOT alone.

In the midst of this European rebellion against Western globalism, Germans are currently attempting to bring treason charges against the chancellor over her migration policy.

“The Federal Prosecutors office in Karlsruhe, Germany, has received over 400 letters calling for it to open an investigation into Chancellor Merkel, the elected leader of the German government for high treason,” reported Breitbart last October. “The complaints cite the chancellor’s decision to open the borders of the nation to all comers in September, since when they claim ‘an unhindered flow of refugees have poured into Germany.'”

“Under German law, anyone who attempts to affect change to the German republic or damage the constitutional order by force or threat of force is guilty of high treason.”

Such an outcome would be welcome. What Merkel’s Islamization of Europe amounts to is “the greatest crime against humanity,” since the Nazi Holocaust and the Red Russian desecration of the real Russian people – the “White Russians.”

What’s more, Merkel will be but a fine start, many, MANY others will have to ultimately have to be held to account for supporting the Crime AGAINST Humanity that is Western Globalism.

So, today in 2016, America is faced with an election over exactly THIS issue.

Which side of history do we wish to be on? Do we want to side with those who support this greatest Crime Against Humanity, or will we side with LIBERTY - which is rooted in nationalism, individualism and private property rights?

Donald Trump not only predicted England’s BREXIT, he wisely supported it.

How tone deaf, how committed to the wrong side of history s Hillary Clinton?

Consider that when asked about world leaders she admired most, she heaped gushing praise on Germany’s failed leader Angela Merkel saying; “Well, I have to say that I highly admire Angela Merkel. I’ve known Angela since the 1990s, she and I actually appeared on a German TV show together,” Clinton responded. “I have spent personal time with her. She is, I think, a really effective strong leader and really right now the major leader in Europe, not just in Germany.”

Angela Merkel has been a willing and devoted stooge of the Brussels-led European Union (EU), an EU that is, thankfully, faltering badly. Today, there are at least 6 European nations that have populations even more opposed to the EU than Great Britain. Right now the people of, France, Italy, Sweden, Greece, Spain and yes, Germany all very strongly oppose the EU.

This tide cannot be held back. What we’re witnessing now is the last peaceful attempt to put down these Globalist Bolsheviks. After this comes waves of bloodshed.

Did Marilyn Mosby Really Try to Railroad 6 Baltimore Police Officers?

Newly released texts between State Prosecutor Marilyn Mosby and Baltimore lead Investigator Dawnyell Taylor seem to show that Ms. Mosby sought to include a false narrative as the foundation of the prosecution in the Freddie Gray Case. (http://www.baltimoresun.com/…/bs-md-ci-taylor-grand-jury-fr…)

I’d initially worried that Marilyn Mosby may have deliberately over-charged the Officers involved out of a personal pro-police bias (she comes from a long line of cops). Then I considered rank incompetence, given that many of her subsequent statements overtly contradicted existing law, evidencing a lack of understanding of the law (perhaps she doesn’t understand the law).

Now, it appears to be something even worse, a deliberate attempt by Marilyn Mosby to rig the prosecution for political gain, similar to the way the now disbarred Mike Nifong acted in the Duke Lacrosse HOAX case.

HOW COME these texts and their implications were only published in the Baltimore Sun and other local publications and largely ignored by the national media?

Will we see a similar fate for Marilyn Mosby?

It seems she richly deserves it.

When can we disbar...or at least disconnect our existing National Media?

I like Star Parker very much.

While I DO NOT exactly share her faith, I recognize how vital Christianity IS to the West's moral code, just as surely as Islam is vital to the Sharia moral code.

That being said, I am not optimistic about the future of "Christendom." It has already fallen in Europe and is eroding here in the USA. That is simply a reality we're all faced with.

This has NOT happened by accident. It was NOT foisted on us by rogue elements in government, nor an anti-religious media. No, it was conjured up along with the rise of the multi-national corporations. These global entities have long wanted a paved over world without borders, language, cultures, nor heritages, with a beige, homogenized global consumer class.

The first target of this "global elite" was Christianity, and they've nearly beaten that force. Next is the eradication of ALL races, cultures and heritages, starting with the white race...the group they see as the greatest threat to world hegemony.

They are winning that battle too.

One of the problems religions face now-a-days is that ALL of the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) are rooted in 5,000 year old books - the Torah, the Old Testament, the Talmud and all these ancient texts endorse things like wife and child beating, chattel slavery, animal sacrifices, and all manner of sexual "sins."

Those old books and that ancient morality is, for better, or for worse, completely out of step with the emerging morality of today.

Ironically enough, of ALL the Abrahamic religions, it is Islam that is most vigorously rebelling AGAINST this "modernity." It is Islam that is most adamant in defending the old ways and sanctioning the old "sins."

Ironically enough it is the largely anti-science Left, a Left comprised mostly of English, History and Humanities majors who could never "do the math," or understand the science, that has popularized the myth of "science vs religion." While few today would endorse the "man on the heavenly throne," religious view, more than half of all scientists believe in some form of deity or higher power.

As a result, CORPORATISM is winning and winning big and whether Pete Thiel's "Republicanism" is "Reaganesque," or not, it is more in step with the prevailing winds of today.

That may be sad, but it's also true.

Lamont Edmondson made the news the other day...for threatening a cop and immediately getting arrested and remanded to a psych center for evaluation. (http://www.silive.com/…/07/psych_test_ordered_for_man_who.h…). What had Edmondson’s arrest make news was his reference to Eric Garner in doing so.

Threatening speech is criminalized in this country and since 9/11 the penalties have been ratcheted up for that crime.

If you don’t know that...that’s YOUR fault. “Ignorance is no excuse for failing to obey the law.”

Police can arrest you on mere “suspicion.”

That’s also a fact and worse yet, should the charges be subsequently dropped, it’s a VERY high bar to prove “false arrest,” as it SHOULD BE.

Merely backing away from an arresting LOE (that’s “Law Enforcement Officer”) constitutes “Resisting Arrest.” Pushing, shoving, spitting or otherwise making contact with an LOE constitutes felony assault of a police officer.

One of the things the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement has done is to bring such charges to the forefront, and NOT in the way the BLM sympathizers might have hoped. Around the country, “minor resisting” arrest charges have been changed to simple “resisting arrest” and the courts are taking them much MORE seriously.

The government DOES NOT want citizens disobeying its laws, and it WILL NOT tolerate criminal suspects confronting or challenging its police.

To that end, there is a veritable “Manhattan Project” going on in the development of newer, more immediately effective non-lethal weapons that will soon allow police to basically “turn off” (render a suspect unconscious and/or immobile), allowing them to “package” and easily transport the suspect to a holding cell.

GOVERNMENT does not want its laws broken, nor its employees threatened or harmed. No government does.

I’ve long suggested that certain actions (resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer, and other violent felonies) come with an immediate suspension of ALL government benefits to that individual – SSI, public assistance, section-8 housing assistance, food stamps, student loans, etc. and depending upon the outcome of the court proceedings, some, or all of these benefits may be permanently suspended for that person.

Since so many street criminals are also government dependents, it would seem to (1) be an excellent way to show such self-unaware people how dependent upon the government they really are and (2) in so doing, effectively bring such people to heel.

In perusing Mr. Edmondson’s Facebook page, he seems very much in need of serious psychiatric help. His mood swings from euphoric to morose from post to post. In that regard, he’s not too different from many others of similar inclinations, which seems to evidence that perhaps we need MORE long-term psychiatric facilities and a change in the disastrous laws that brought about the ill-fated de-institutionalization of the late 1960s and 1970s.
