That makes sense.The effects of terrorism are imminent and all too real, the effects of global warming are unclear, especially since the Reid Bryson, known as the father of scientific climatology, called global warming a bunch of hooey.
The poll results, in response to the question, “Over the coming decades, which do you think will pose a more serious threat to the world—the effects of climate change and global warming or the effects of global terrorism,” were;
Effects of global terrorism 52%
Effects of climate change and global warming 28%
Equal effects 15%
Don’t know 4%
That’s puts the majority of Americans at oddss with Al Gore who in November 2005 said, "I don’t want to diminish the threat of terrorism at all, it is extremely serious, but on a long-term global basis, global warming is the most serious problem we are facing."

Thank God that most people in this country are smarter than the liberal media - who, by the way, are slowly losing their audience.
Eventually, if we're lucky, no one will be listening to them. Many of us - you are a great example - are now doing our own research and reporting, and doing a far better job than the MSM. Keep up the good work, my fellow American.
That's the Liberal lament, Mick!
I keep hearing how "Talk Radio's turned so many dumb Americans into Conservatives."
Nothing of the sort's ever happened.
In fact, sad to say, America's been a Conservative country since its inception, and today is more Liberal than it's ever been.
Back when the MSM was monolithically Liberal, my Dad used to despise Walter Cronkite as "a Commie."
I was a kid, and he seemed like a nice old grandfather....like Captain Kangaroo, what did I know?
Later, after reading about Cronkite, turns out my Dad had it right all along.
Nope, Talk Radio merely connected with the vast heartland of America those Conservative voices resonated with.
Same with FoxNews and the same with the internet, though the Leftist netroots (the Kos-kids, the Huffpooos, the DU-dopes and the MoveOn-sters) all try their best to stifle speech they don't like.
