“Progressive Values” on Display....

To Progressives, protecting the “free speech rights” of admitted perverts like Peter Melzer (pictured above) a former NYC public schools teacher who is an admitted member of NAMBLA (the North American Man-Boy Love Association – a pedophile’s Union), who has acknowledged that he was drawn to teaching because of the access to children and that he’s traveled to other countries explicitly to engage in sex with young boys, is paramount.

The “free speech rights” of those who oppose excessive taxation (above a 25% total tax burden for anyone), who support strict border enforcement and their innate right to self defense...those, they’re not as passionate about.

Back in the mid-1990s, an investigation into his behaviors cited his "enthusiastic championing of pedophilia, including child pornography and child prostitution" as being among the grounds for dismissal.

Then in 1995 Attorney General Dennis Vacco and Secretary of State Alexander Treadwell sought to revoke the corporate status of Zymurgy Inc., whose directors included "an ex-Bronx teacher (still employed in the Board of Education’s “Rubber Rooms”) who, they claimed “advocated sex between men and boys and still works for the Board of Education.” "

Zymurgy was incorporated in 1994 to "foster" and "advance greater knowledge and understanding of human sexuality" through workshops and lectures, according to papers filed with the state.

Treadwell said, that "it now appears" Zymurgy "is a front" for the controversial group known as the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA), which favors consensual sex between men and boys.

By posing as a legitimate group, Vacco said, Zymurgy was "seeking to promote an offensive agenda, while promoting illegal activity."

One of Zymurgy's directors was Peter Melzer, who’d been removed from his post as a Bronx teacher in 1993, after Board of Education investigators learned he was an editor of the NAMBLA newsletter.

Despite his advocating for pedophilia, Peter Melzer, charged in a Board of Education investigation in 1993, he was held in the Board of Education’s so-called “Rubber Rooms” until 2000 and his dismissal wasn’t finalized until a decision, made public on July 17^th, 2010, in which the panel ruled that Peter Melzer, a teacher at the Bronx High School of Science for more than 30 years, had been justifiably dismissed by the Board of Education in 2000.

NAMBLA was founded over three decades ago, when in December of 1977, police raided a house in the Boston suburb of Revere. Twenty-four men were arrested and indicted on over 100 felony counts of the statutory rape of boys aged eight to fifteen. Suffolk County District Attorney Garrett Byrne found that the men used drugs and video games to lure the boys into a house, where they photographed them as they engaged in sexual activity. The men were members of a "sex ring", and said that the arrest was only "the tip of the iceberg.”

Staff members of the homosexual newspaper Fag Rag believed the raid was politically motivated. They and others in Boston's gay community saw Byrne's round-up as an anti-gay witch-hunt. On December 9 they organized the Boston-Boise Committee, a name intended as a reference to a similar situation that unfolded in Boise, Idaho in the 1950s. The group sponsored rallies, provided funds for the defendants, and tried to educate the public about the case by passing out fliers. It would also later produce NAMBLA.

On December 2, 1978, Tom Reeves of the Boston-Boise Committee convened a meeting called "Man/Boy Love and the Age of Consent." Approximately 150 interested people attended. At the meeting's conclusion, about thirty men and youths decided to form an organization which they called the North American Man/Boy Love Association, or NAMBLA for short.

Ironically enough, Peter Melzer has actually lived in the Yonkers neighborhood for two years, but his neighbors have only recently become aware of his controversial past, because he’s not a convicted sex offender and thus was never required to register with authorities.

Yonkers police have urged neighbors to be vigilant in protecting their children.

”Not all people are bad, but not all people are nice and you don't know when it's a stranger," said local resident Anna Chamberlain.

Of course vigilance, police said, must stop short of harassment despite neighbors' opposition to Melzer's way of life.

It isn't merely that the vast majority of Americans (over 98%) oppose "Melzer's way of life," fact is, Melzer's way of life, like "progressive values" are antithetical to American values.

With the relaxing of the incredibly successful welfare reforms of the late 1990s has come the predictable return of welfare fraud.

One thing you can count on as assuredly as the sunrise is that “when a liberal gets an idea, he usually gets it wrong.”

Wrong on “housing as a human right,” most of those “low income Americans” treated to mortgages they couldn’t afford thanks to Fannie, Freddie, Barney and Dodd among others, are now in foreclosure.

How’s that “human right” working out for you, now?

Wrong on championing illegal immigration for “creating more Democratic voters” - turns out that the vast majority of the Catholic immigrants wind up more socially Conservative and more averse to Democratic policies than most Americans!

And woefully wrong on “welfare rights.” Dolts like the Rathke’s (Dale and Wade) once posited that by overburdening the system, they could bring about socialism.”

FACT, once a support system like that fails, there is an immediate and unavoidable return to what can be best termed “anarcho-Capitalism.”

Today (Tuesday, April 27th, 2010), WCBS News York reported; “Authorities said 32 people, some of them financially well-off, have been indicted in a welfare-fraud crackdown.

“Brooklyn District Attorney Charles J. Hynes said the defendants stole about $1 million in benefits, including welfare, Medicaid and food stamp assistance. Some of the defendants owned homes and businesses.

“Authorities said one couple, who were in real estate, had about $2 million in their bank account at one point.”

Welfare fraud once accounted for over one-third of new York City’s welfare rolls, which is why New York City’s welfare population dropped by a third in the wake of the Gingrich-driven welfare reforms.

Those reforms ultimately dropped New York City’s welfare population from just over 1 million to under 400,000 and in the process saved New York City, at least $20 BILLION per year, based on $25,000/year in welfare benefits across the 800,000 people dropped from the rolls.

The Myth of the “Working Class Far-Left”....

Wait a minute, that phrase "far left working class kind of guy" is an oxymoron.

People who work for a living DO NOT support higher taxes, or increased social spending, or more foreign aid, or an "expanded public option" in healthcare designed to shift the burden of paying for healthcare FROM businesses and Municipalities (currently, some 97% of American workers are covered by their employers...of the estimated "40 million uninsured Americans," an estimated 17 MILLION are opt-outs, generally younger, healthier workers, who opt out of their workplace health insurance in favor of increased take-home pay, another estimated 15 MILLION are ILLEGAL immigrants, and as such are NOT "Americans"....leaving about 8 MILLION (appx 3%) of American workers uninsured) TO the workers themselves.

The current Pelosi-care would create a public option that would provide a bare-bones expanded public option that virtually EVERY employer would opt to put their employees on. That option would offer heavily restricted care (many state programs cap spending at $10,0000/per patient per year), rationing of care....in fact that's already being done by focusing on cutting reimbursements to physicians who send patients for more and expensive testing (read oncologists and heart specialists), and "paying for it" with CUTS to Medicare.

Most working people no more like the idea of paying MORE for LESS care than they do the prospect of an inane and prohibitive carbon tax based on the now proven-to-be junk science behind "anthropomorphic global warming."

As to your question about who on the left loves Sharia Law...well, apparently MANY on the far-Left admire such hellholes and they even embrace their Third World values, such as Harold Koh (tabbed by President Barack Obama to be the lead legal advisor to the State Department, whom, in a 2007 speech, stated, “In an appropriate case, he didn’t see any reason why sharia law would not be applied to govern a case in the United States.”

And Mr. Koh's view is NOT all that rare in the far-Left precincts.

In one year the American people are witnessing the greatest lie that is cleverly being orchestrated by President Obama and his whole administration. The lie is a potent aggression that feeds the needs of people who either have not educated themselves enough to understand the assault upon us all, or the very poor and needy who live to be taken care of. The world who looked on us, as a symbol of hope and prosperity, now wonders..."What will become of the entire world if America is losing its power?"

The American people who understand exactly what is taking place have come together in the thousands, vowing to try and stay together as a unit of love and freedom, for all men and women, from all walks of life, shivering to think that this once great nation will be a third worlds country.

This will be the first President to ever weaken the United States of America. President Obama uses his aggression and arrogance for his own agenda against the American people, when he should be using his will and aggression against our enemies. Generation Zero is a GREAT documentary that shows how we've gotten to where we are today. It rightfully defines the 1960s as a "revolution against civilization," which, as defined by Edmund Burke, is "a contract between the past (the dead), the present (the living, who are a "bridge between past and future) and the future (those yet to be born)." In rejecting their debt to the past and their responsibilities to the future, the "elites" among the Baby Boomers rejected that eternal compact.


This documentary intertwines history and economics to give excellent insights into why we are where we currently are, both politically and economically.

What We’re Up Against....

The feminized West has a hard time with moral absolutes and expressing authority

In a recent (April 8^th, 2010) article in the Wall Street Journal by Dorothy Rabinowitz (a member of the Journal's editorial board, is the author of "No Crueler Tyrannies: Accusations, False Witness, and Other Terrors of Our Times" (Free Press, 2003) ends with a very poignant insight; “There are other faces of Muslim America. Five years or so after the terrorists drove their planes and passengers into the twin towers and the Pentagon, a cab driver from Pakistan remarked, as we drove past the rubble where the towers had stood, that he could never pass this place without trying to see them again in his mind. A painful effort, for all that it brought back. What was not painful, he added, was the memory of certain people in his neighborhood — a mixed but mostly white area of Queens, with many Italian-Americans, some Jews, and he thought some Irish. After the attacks, some of the men had come to him.

"My wife doesn't go out without a head cover," he explained. The men had come to tell him that if anyone bothered her, or his family, he must come to them.

"I must tell them and must not be afraid. Do you know," he said, in a voice suddenly sharp, "what would have happened if Americans had done this kind of attack in my country? Every American—every Christian, every non-Muslim—would have been slaughtered, blood would have run in the streets. I know the kind of country this is. Thanks be to God I can give this to my children."

This casual observation that had an American or any Westerner (any Asian, for that matter) done something terrible like that anywhere within the Muslim-Middle East, “every non-Muslim would have been slaughtered, blood would have run in the streets,” is WITHOUT QUESTION true.

And that is what the soft-hearted, zealously “tolerant” West faces today...an attitude very familiar to their own fathers and grandfathers, but quite unfamiliar today.

Can America and the West really stand up to this “old school challenge” from a morality rooted in the 7^th Century?

We’re about to find out.

What's a TRILLION?....

It's hard enough trying to visulaize a billion, let alone a TRILLION and images of dollar bills stretched around the world (see above) doesn't really put it into a real perspective that most of us can get our arms around.

So, WHAT, exactly is a TRILLION?

Well, if you are, or know anyone who is 70 y/0, they've lived for 2 BILLION seconds!

For that person to live for 1 TRILLION seconds they only have 31,430 years to go, because they'll have to live for about 31,500 years to live for 1 TRILLION seconds!

Still More Proof of the Dysgenic Effects of Crime....

This past Tuesday, a van driven by 18 y/o Kayla Gerdes struck and killed Dr. Rebecca Twine, M.D. PhD, as Dr. Twine mowed her front lawn around 9:45 AM.

Kayla Gerdes was allegedly high on Xanax and Oxycodone at the time of the “accident.” She’s been charged with 2nd degree manslaughter, 2nd degree vehicular homicide, driving while ability impaired by drugs and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Allegedly, Ms. Gerdes insisted on taking the wheel from the car’s owner and her co-worker, Brian Steele, because she thought he was driving too slow.

When you drive a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs or alcohol and kill someone, that’s NOT an “accident,” it’s willful and reckless disregard and depraved indifference to human life and it’s vehicular homicide.

Kayla Gerdes is being held on $200,000 bond or $100,000 bail. According to reports, she was rushing because she was late to yet another court appearance on charges that she stole jewelry from “her mother’s boyfriend.”

Sounds about right.

Dr. Twine’s son Chauncey said, “I can’t even put into words what my family is going through, my mother was really the kindest, just sweetest, most gentle person that you’ll ever meet, and for her to die this way is just horrible...”

I can’t imagine that that is a momentous understatement.

For her part, Kayla Gerdes noted, “The thing that made me feel not so bad was she was old...I man 70 years is a long time to live.”

Spoken like a true crackhead. Isn't it amazing how such people almost always indict themselves with their own calloused words?

Here’s yet another testament to the dysgenics of crime. Here, a brilliant academic (Dr. Rebecca Twine, M.D., PhD) is mowed down on her own front lawn by a marginal, deeply troubled and drug addled teen, devoid of the ability to replace the talents lost in any appreciable way.

So the world loses Dr. Rebecca Twine and still has the deeply troubled and woefully self-centered Kayla Gerdes around. That’s the very definition of dysgenic, "the less intelligent, less productive and less able are displaced, via crime (especially violent crime) by the less intelligent, less productive and less able."


That's what I’d call a LOSE-LOSE proposition...and that is the general and overall impact of crime, especially violent crime.

Look, bottom-line, if you can't make an effective argument against Nationalism Socialism (beautifully summed up by its most famous/infamous acolyte; "We are socialists, we are enemies of today's capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions..." (A Hitler, May 1, 1927) then you deserve Nazism!

Hey! Aren't the above Hitlerian sentiments the SAME sentiments espoused by the regressives (a/k/a "progressives") of TODAY???

Obama’s Appeal Fading Even Among (Liberal) Blacks!....

 











WoW! If Al Sharpton’s radio show is any indication, there is a growing dissatisfaction with Barack Obama among many black Americans.

UNFORTUNATELY their dissatisfaction seems centered around the insane view that “Barack Obama ISN’T being LEFTIST ENOUGH!”

As Brian Maloney (The Radio Equalizer: http://radioequalizer.blogspot.com/) notes, “Sharpton Show Callers Continue To Pound Obama,” adding “Sharpton Callers Increasingly Angry Over Obama.” (SEE: http://radioequalizer.blogspot.com/2010/04/sharpton-show-callers-continue-to-pound.html) but that should be small comfort to Conservatives and Americanists around the country, as those callers are almost universally frustrated at the fact that Barack Obama hasn’t been as far-Left as they’d hoped and that he hasn’t embraced a sufficiently “pro-BLACK agenda.”

As Brian Maloney notes, “Sharpton's callers are increasingly dissatisfied with Barack Obama, despite polls showing near-unanimous support for the president among African-Americans.

“More recently, however, the on-air tone projected by his listeners has begun to shift: polite dissent has now become outright anger.

“How does this fit with the mainstream media's narrative that Obama's detractors are almost entirely white (racists)?”

The Radio Equalizer gives this exchange between Al Shrpton-fill in, Dr. Ron Daniels and a caller, named Nathan as just one example;

NATHAN (CALLER) (3:34): Anybody with good sense don’t want to go to this convention. It’s nothing but an Obama fan club. It’s a total disgrace. Al Sharpton has no credibility and you either. You have no credibility cause you’re cheerleaders for Obama. You’re a total disgrace. (Daniels interrupts)

DR RON DANIELS, SHARPTON FILL-IN HOST: You got a problem with Obama? You got a problem with Obama? What’s your problem with President Obama?

NATHAN: He’s a thug just like George Bush. He’s bombing people in Iraq and Afghanistan. He’s killing up people. There’s no difference between him and George Bush.

DANIELS: So you see no difference between he and George Bush?

NATHAN: No difference and black people done lost their minds.

DANIELS: Health care doesn’t matter? Unemployment and extending benefits doesn’t matter?

NATHAN: That was an insurance company bailout. That was an insurance company bailout and you know it.

DANIELS: Well, there are millions of people across this country who I think who feel a lot better because they’ll have health insurance my friend.

NATHAN: You are a total sham. You and Al Sharpton are a total sham you all ought to be ashamed of yourself.

DANIELS: Well I have my criticism of President Obama, but I think there are a lot of people who would think we’d much rather have him then having Bush in the White House. But look you have an opportunity to share your (Nathan interrupts)

NATHAN: You a total disgrace, you know that?

DANIELS: All right well, I’m willing to be disgraceful here on national radio. I appreciate your call. Nathan.

NATHAN: You’re a total disgrace.

DANIELS: Nathan, appreciate your call sir.

There’s an Instructive Lesson in this for Conservatives

What this shows is that as President Obama has reached out to appeal to America’s 40% moderate plurality, he’s alienated some in his base.

The same phenomenon would almost certainly plague a Conservative in office, who in trying to appeal to that large middle would almost certainly also risk alienating some of the Conservative base.

In fact, Democrats are poised to alienate their base far better than Conservative Republicans are. After all, Conservatives in America outnumber Liberals by at least 2 to 1 (40% to 21% in the most generous of existing polls), thus a Conservative politician would risk alienating a far larger base, as well as an increasingly traditionalist and Conservative “Independent” vote!

Democrats could easily alienate their liberal base to court the far larger 40% of Independents and Moderates, as Liberals literally “have nowhere else to go,” and even if they did stay home, that would have a far smaller impact on any given election than when Conservatives sit one out!

So, why don’t Liberal pols do what Conservatives and Republicans have easily and eagerly done – risk alienating their base for the hope of some “broader appeal?”

The ONLY logical reason is that Liberal politicians are far more ideologically driven “ideologues” than are their Conservative counterparts.

That’s been both a blessing and a cuse...mostly a self-inflicted curse, as they’ve routinely alienated the other 80% of Americans ideologically be not merely “courting their own ideological base,” but in following their own inane, logic-free ideology.

Ever Wonder WHY Liberals Never Bring Up SWEDEN Any More?....

Remember when American Liberals could reliably be counted on to point to Sweden as “proof” that “democratic socialism CAN work”?

No more. It’s as though Sweden has fallen off the world’s map, lately.

Wonder why?

Well, the primary reason is that Sweden’s been running away from the Keynesian policies America’s Liberals have been embracing for over a decade now!

Sweden is a powerful example of the importance of public policy. The Nordic nation became rich between 1870 and 1970 when government was very small, but then began to stagnate as welfare state policies were implemented in the 1970s and 1980s. Stefan Karlsson chronicled the economic history of Sweden back in 2006 in an excellent article. In that work Karlsson wrote the following:

"As a result of its free market policies, the resourcefulness of its people, and its successful avoidance of war, Sweden had the highest per-capita income growth in the world between 1870 and 1950, by which time Sweden had become one of the world's richest countries."

Karlsson also noted that, “there's a common misperception that the Scandinavian countries are borderline Cuban in terms of economic freedom, while the rest of the developed world (particularly the United States) is far more free-market oriented. However, the reality is that the Scandinavian countries are among the top 10 and 20 "most liberalized" economies in the world, even despite their massive welfare states.”

WoW! Goldman Sachs FINALLY Charged With Civil Fraud!....

This is actually an incredible story! One that COULD have far-reaching impact on the U.S. financial sector, either positive or negative.

Goldman Sachs (the Rothschild’s arm in America) is under indictment for Civil Fraud, for knowingly trading high-risk subprime mortgage securities without disclosing those risks to investors, NOR (worse yet) disclosing that Goldman Sachs had apparently bet against or “shorted” those same securities.

As a result, as the housing market imploded and losses exploded for the biggest banks, Goldman suffered less damage. That led to criticism that the bank benefited at the expense of clients who bought mortgage-backed securities that later became toxic.

The SEC charges come less than 10 days after Goldman Sachs denied it bet against clients by selling them mortgage-backed securities while reducing its own exposure to such investments before the housing market crashed. Goldman told investors that a third party, ACA Management LLC, had selected the underlying mortgages in the investment. But, the SEC alleges, Goldman misled investors by failing to disclose that Paulson & Co. also played a role in selecting the mortgages and stood to profit from their decline in value.

Goldman Sachs is consistently one of Wall Street’s most reliable Democratic donors. A firm that delivered over 65% of its donations to Liberal Democrats in 2008.

Well, belated as this all is, it couldn’t happen to a more deserving firm!

Scathing DOD Report Slams The Handling of the Fort Hood Jihadist Attack....

File this under, “Irony can be pretty ironic sometimes.”

The Department of Defense, which was ultimately responsible for ALL ongoing military policies, has issued a scathing report on the Fort Hood jihadist attack.

Among its findings is that its own commitment to the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) is “inadequate,” resulting in “inconsistent” (read NONEXISTANT) cooperation with the FBI.

According to that report, the JTTF knew, well in advance of Major Hassan’s terrorist attack, that Hassan was in communications with an al Qaeda sympathizer and recruiter, but that was not reported to DOD or the military.

It also found that, “Commanders and supervisors do not always receive information about individuals who may commit violent acts.”

REALLY?!

Why?

The answer is that personnel are dissuaded from alerting superiors of such a threat for fear of ruffling “racial sensitivities,” thereby jeopardizing their own career advancement.

Yet another finding was that, “DOD policy prohibiting certain supremacist or extremist behavior is "unclear" and "limited" when it comes to individual behavior.” TRANSLATION: While the DOD, as an extension of the U.S. government takes white supremacist behavior seriously, it is tepid, at best, when dealing with similar behavior from other groups...that has to (and WILL) change.

But will it change before it’s too late? THAT is the million dollar question.

The report also makes the shocking revelation that “the DOD does not have a comprehensive cyberspace counterintelligence program to alert authorities to "non-foreign intelligence" on potential threats.”

OK, I’ll bite; WHY NOT?! None of this makes ANY sense in today’s world. This isn’t 1970, it’s 2010! It would seem that many of the DOD’s policies are like Bozo the Clown fans – “Stuck on some clown from the 60’s!”

What this report does NOT appear to address is the personal responsibility up and down Major Hassan's chain of command.

There is another report that recommends that a number of individuals who failed to report Hassan's erratic behavior be relieved of duty or disciplined. The list reportedly includes commanders and officers at Walter Reed, where Hassan had worked as a staff psychiatrist counseling soldiers with PTSD returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

According to ABC News the U.S. Army reported that “the reports are still sitting on the Army Secretary's desk while Army lawyers struggle to determine what legal hurdles must be cleared.”

Kinda figures, doesn’t it? They DO have the current overly litigiousness of the contemporary American society covered, just not the “political correctness run amok,” aspect.

Taxed Enough Already

April 15^th is a great time to consider our broken and fatally flawed tax system.

Right now, America is the 4^th highest tax nation in the world. It SHOULD be, 19^th.

The top 1% of income earners (families AND small businesses earning $410,000/year or more) pay 40% of all income taxes. The 10% of income earners (families AND small businesses earning $113,000/year or more) pay 71% of all income taxes, while 47% of Americans pay NO income taxes at all.

Given that the top 10% of income earners earn app. 43% of the aggregate annual income (they provide over 50% of the productive output in the country), it would seem that they are grossly over-taxed...by somewhere around 25% to 30%!

The bottom 90% of income earners, where the rest of that 57% of the aggregate annual income is found and upon which less than 29% of all income taxes are received, seem to be grossly UNDER-taxed, especially relative to productivity.

Ironically enough the truly “rich” don’t factor into any of this at all.

The truly “rich” don’t rely upon income for wealth.

So, the productive “rich,” those who earn the highest incomes are NOT at all “under-taxed,” as most of the pseudo-elitists claim, they are, in fact, over-taxed, it’s the bottom 80% to 90% and especially the bottom 50% of American income earners.

Moreover, higher tax rates demonstrably harm the lowest income earners by tamping down job creation. For every 1% rise in the total overall tax rate for the highest income earners over 40% costs an estimated 4 million new jobs each year. While every 1% rise in the overall tax rate on those same job creators over 50% costs an estimated 11 million new jobs every year!

Think about all THAT as you ponder the 2010 tax deadline.

In praise of DISPARATE IMPACT

The American Constitution enshrines the INDIVIDUL above the STATE, ABOVE the COLLECTIVE/community.

It does this by severely limiting government action and involvement in the day-to-day affairs of its free citizens and by barring government control over any portion of the economy and enshrining private property rights.

Private property rights and individualism combine to make the equalization of people impossible, as they codify a severe and draconian “disparate impact” into what is defined as “individual Liberty.”

Under that system, the clever put the yolk on both the brilliant and the poor (who wind up doing the bulk of all the back-breaking work). The “clever” are generally not the most intellectually gifted and certainly NOT the often mocked, “effete, educated elite,” as educational achievement and intelligence are not consistently correlative. The “clever” are often derided as “the investor class,” or “the entrepreneurial class,” as they are, in fact the investors, speculators and entrepreneurs who create profitable concerns from their own thoughts. The “clever” are generally the most gifted in common sense, ironically enough, an area in which the many of the “intellectually gifted” are not.

Under individual Liberty, "the clever," who number at most perhaps 15 – 20 percent of the population, at most, come to completely dominate it. And while there is no greater “disparate impact” than that, there is also nothing that increases human achievement and progress more than that, either.

Moreover, “disparate impact” (differing outcomes based on factors like abilities, ambitions, ruthlessness and cunning that often translate into differences between various economic classes and ethnic groups) is not only “right and just,” but “Constitutional,” as it is codified into the original American Constitution in the name of property rights.

The vicious free-for-all of the open/free market, private property rights and INDIVIDUALISM works in that it creates the MOST prosperity for the MOST people.

The best that can be said for any form of COLLECTIVISM is that “despite producing less prosperity and a (“slightly” to “significantly”) lower overall standard of living (depending on your viewpoint) it also greatly reduces the innate disparate impact that individualism allows and enables the government to do more to equalize people economically.” When all is said and done, that amounts to virtually no argument at all, as it concedes at the start that INDIVIDUALISM and economic freedom produce MORE prosperity for MORE people.

The American Constitution that codified private property rights, individualism and economic freedom as the structural essence of the USA was at least the 5,000 year leap in the advancement of man that W. Cleon Skousen said it was.

Those who view this document, a document that “enshrines a socially Darwinist "disparate impact" based on guile over intellect and refinement,” as flawed believe that simply because they fail to understand that freedom is innately unequal and that common sense is far more valuable, at least in terms of human advancement than mere genius.

Liberty is the full weight of personal responsibility. It is not an easy path. It’s not even a “fair path.” It does not limit the natural inequities of man, it accepts them as natural and reinforces them. It is not neat and clean, but it is prosperous. It is not kind and tolerant, but it is prosperous. It is not stagnant, static and more equal, but it is powerfully dynamic, coldly opportunistic and nakedly prosperous.

In short, it is not only the best system in terms of advancing mankind and increasing prosperity ever advanced, it is a system so far advanced that its contemporary critics do not even understand it well enough to make an informed critique.

SUCCESS!!! GM LOST ONLY $4.3 BILLION Between July & December ’09 And Sees “Chance of a Profit” for 2010...Whoooopeee!...

Apparently both Barack Obama and Rahm Emmanuel subscribe to the same “Curly Howard Business Model” – “If at first ya don’t succeed, just keep on sucking til ya do succeed!”

General Motors recently announced that it lost $4.3 billion in the last half of 2009 as it struggled to emerge from bankruptcy protection, repay government loans and cope with a severe downturn in the overall U.S. economy.

The bailed out Auto maker still does according to the AP, “see a chance of being profitable in 2010.”

So there’s a CHANCE!?

Wow! That’s comforting news.

The U.S. government has given GM $52 billion in bailout money and has owned 61 percent of GM since its emergence from bankruptcy. Most of that will be repaid when GM makes a public stock offering, but the company has pledged to repay $6.7 billion in cash. GM made a $1 billion payment to the U.S. government in December and another $1 billion payment in March.

GM’s problems are much deeper than Ford’s, which is reflected in their respective stock prices – Ford’s trading at $12.58/share to GM’s 75 CENTS, that’s right, SEVENTY-FICE CENTS per share!

Of course, Ford took NONE of the government bailout money that5 Chrysler and GM did.

The Coming Pension Tsunami?

According to a report by the Government Accountability Office (GAO), GM will need to add $12.3 billion into its pension fund by 2014. If GM and Chrysler (which is in the hole $2.6 billion) terminate their pensions, the taxpayer funded Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation would then be on the hook for as much as $14.5 billion in unfunded liabilities (a/k/a those aforementioned pension funds). The GAO is quick to point out, “However, if GM starts making money the company will be able to pay into the pension fund,” the GAO reports.

If NOT, then it’s more than likely that GM and Chrysler will join a huge number of similarly positioned private and public sector entities that will be abandoning their “unfunded liabilities” onto the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, which could trigger a massive federal default, which could potentially trigger that “Greek-lke” implosion that many economists are currently warning about.
