Reason #4,784,386 WHY I LOVE the Ubiquitous Post-9/11 Surveillance State...

Today, EVERYTHING'S on film. Virtual

Our every public move is on video.

Once that was universally considered "creepy," now it's become universally accepted.

Outside our homes, we have no legal expectation of privacy. This ubiquitous and increasing surveillance has solved many crimes, debunked others (hello Jussie!) and cleared many innocents who've been wrongly accused (hello again, Jussie).

In a recent attack on a disabled Veteran in Oklahoma City, the entire episode was caught on video (https://kfor.com/…/police-investigating-alleged-assault-o…/…).

It's said that the alleged attacker made a derogatory statement to the Vet before the attack. ANYONE besmirching a Veteran should be punished severely. In a better world, they'd be beaten unmercifully before Police arrived, if only to "soften them up."

This was clearly a "hate crime," so it's good it was caught on video.
