I Don't Mean to be Blunt/Rude, BUT I Can't Help Being Honest...

.

.

.

I DESPISE the cheap virtue claiming of my Leftist...ummm...associates. This "saying all the right things" (well, most of the time...EXCEPT for Joe Biden's tasteless "Indians/7-11" jokes, Hillary's & Gore's fake "black accents," etc), but acting just as selfishly and piggishly "me FIRST" as ever.

One relatively mild example is when very fit, good looking women reflexively come to the defense of a fattie, with, "(Gasp!)...She has such a pretty face!"

See that?

Someone (usually an ogre, like myself) says EXACTLY what they're thinking (to a TEE) and they can't wait to engage in a bit of feel good, pat myself on the back, "Stand up for the underdog/fattie" virtue claiming.
What's wrong with it?

Well, besides being cost-free and obviously disingenuous, it's really, REALLY annoying.

Besides, that act has been done to death. Even SNL fashioned a skit around it...with two guys! Apparently a "creative twist. (https://youtu.be/stqG2ihMvP0)

Many Leftists do the SAME in championing the poor (with other people's money) AND the border (pretending family separations didn't begin in 2012, or that the previous administration didn't boast about "deporting 3 million illegals") while inanely chanting things like, "No one's illegal."

Worse yet, many, perhaps most of these Leftists are themselves fairly well-off and generally have nothing but disdain and disgust for the actual "poor," when they do see them...which is usually safely on TV.

These are the dolts who constantly yell, "Tax the rich!"

They are abject morons.

The income tax DOESN'T tax "the rich."

Jeff Bezos earned appx $100,000/year in income in 2017, Warren Buffett earned $84,000 that same year.

The truly rich/wealthy don't rely on income for any substantial part of their wealth.

As for all these would-be "do-gooders," there's an old story about a monk who spent all his time meditating on and praying over the plight of the poor.

One day, another monk said to him, "The poor need aid and alms, more than they do prayers," so the first monk went out to be among the poor, to help, but when he came in contact with the poor up close, he was disgusted...by their appearance, their smell and their coarse ways. More than that, he was aghast at their ingratitude and self-centeredness...and quickly began to despise the poor.

So he went back to prayerful meditation.

It's a good parable for today, because, ironically enough, do you know WHO "the poor" and uneducated are today? Many of them are the Neo Nazis, the Black Hebrew Israelites, the skinheads, the New Black Panthers, the KKKers, the MS 13 members, tweakers and other substance abusers...THOSE come from among "the poor."

Cuddle at your own risk.

As for me, I REFUSE...

Ooooops! I didn't mean to be so blunt/rude.
