Yet Another Abuse of Authority...

.

.

I am NOT a supporter of the ongoing "war on police," but I do recognize that there are bad cops, like bad there are bad carpenters, accountants, doctors, teachers, firefighters and members of every other profession. There are also people in all professions who just have "bad days," here and there.

In the case of Police Officers, any bad decision can negatively impact, even ruin lives.

Without question, Police MUST ALWAYS defend themselves against anyone who'd confront or attack a Cop. Failure is never an option for Police in such instances, but the abuse of authority is always unacceptable.

Here, a Cop arrests a retired firefighter after the retired FF just saved a woman's life, after she had a major car wreck.

The Cop here, claims to have been an EMT, but according to witnesses, did nothing to assist the victim.
THAT should be a violation of procedure ANYWHERE.

While I DON'T like the narrator's over-the-top delivery, which makes the problem seem epidemic, when it's actually pretty rare, there certainly ARE such abuses. They ARE relatively rare and they're generally NOT racially motivated.

This one SHOULD result in a Civil lawsuit against the Cop, the Prosecutor, who originally filed charges against the good Samaritan and the Municipality.
