Bill DeBlasio planned on holding a press conference pushing for a "New Green New Deal," outside Trump Tower, but climate change showed up and mugged the Mayor!

A chilly, rain snap (Sunday and Monday, May 12th & 13th barely touched 50 degrees in Manhattan) forced him inside the public lobby of Trump Tower...and into a very inhospitable spectacle as Hizzoner was constantly heckled and the Trump Tower speakers boomed Frank Sinatra's version of, "I've Got You Under My Skin," over his speech.

With his unlikely Presidential run, it appears Bill DeBlasio is hoping to "fail up"...and out of New York, as his Mayoralty has seen a return to the 1970s in NYC...and not the nostalgic kind, more like, the dysfunctional kind.

Damn that pesky climate change...
