Naive Idealism Has a VERY High Cost...

.

.

Turns out this white guy attacked by Black Lives Matter (BLM) "protesters" in a garage was attending that rally in support of BLM.

Here's the thing, if you're white, or Asian, or even Hispanic...this ISN'T your issue. You have no business supporting BLM.

Moreover, the BLM movement is rooted in lies. Remember, "Hands up, don't shoot"?

NEVER happened!

Michael Brown in Ferguson, assaulted that cop (Darren Wilson) and struggled inside that squad car to take Wilson's gun. Brown was shot attempting to murder a police officer.

In Milwaukee and now Charlotte, armed black men were shot by 2 black cops. BLM itself is a LIE!

Look back, even to the Trayvon Martin case and you'll find a black teen attacking an Hispanic neighborhood watch leader for allegedly "being nosy." Trayvon Martin assaulted George Zimmerman because Martin allegedly believed Zimmerman was following him.

In truth, whites have been held to much higher standards when using "self defense" and this book chronicling four high profile cases, shows that (https://www.amazon.com/Four-Trayvons-Killings…/…/ref=sr_1_1…)

The law clearly allows citizens to "follow" and "lurk" around other citizens. The law DOES NOT allow for assault. There's no crime called "unlawful following." Not so funny story, there is a crime called assault - pushing, even spitting on another often amounts to felony assault. If I perceived that I was being followed, I'd call the police.

The other common misunderstanding in the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case was that it was NOT a "Stand Your Ground" case. It was simple justifiable self defense. Zimmerman allegedly shot Martin while being pummeled on the ground. The ballistics showed that upward trajectory to be the path of the single shot and Zimmerman did suffer extensive injuries. A truly bad case was that of Chris Cervini shot and killed by Roderick Scott (http://radioviceonline.com/media-roderick-scott-not.../) in Rochester, NY. Roderick Scott illegally confronted 3 juveniles who were allegedly breaking into cars on his block. NYS DOES NOT have a "Stand Your Ground" law, so, in NYS an individual is legally REQUIRED to run, or hide in place or use any other means to avoid the use of deadly force. Roderick Scott DID NOT do that and while I sympathize with his outrage and support his actions, as I support "Stand Your Ground" laws, I'd have had to vote to convict him of manslaughter in a NYS courtroom because NYS does not have "Stand Your Ground." I DO NOT much like George Zimmerman because he seems like an dopey, wanna-be cop, but he still had a right to defend himself from attack. I DO believe I like, or at least sympathize with Rod Scott, but it appears he violated NYS law by failing to run away, seek to hide from the danger, etc. In other words, in NYS Roderick Scott had NO legal right to "Stand his Ground."
