The late Trevon Johnson
His family says: “You have to look at it from every
child’s point of view that was raised in the hood. You have to
understand...how he gonna get his money to have clothes to go to school? You
have to look at it from his point-of-view.” Yeah..."Keepin' it REAL!" (http://miami.cbslocal.com/…/teen-burglary-suspect-killed-h…/)
The TRUTH
is....NO YOU DON'T!
We DON'T have to
"LOOK AT crime through the offender's eyes." Didn't Dave Chappel
do a bit on how "Keepin' It REAL" often leads to some VERY bad outcomes?
Sadly (for the Johnsons), other people DO NOT "have to" look at
things from a semi-literate primate's viewpoint. SORRY, but they just DON'T!
The sister of the teen who died identified him as
Trevon Johnson and said that he was a student at nearby D. A. Dorsey Technical
College.
“I
don’t care if she have her gun license or any of that. That is way beyond the
law...way beyond,” (ACTUALLY,
it’s NOT “way beyond the law” at all) said Johnson’s cousin Nautika Harris.
“He was not supposed to die like this. He
had a future ahead of him. Trevon had goals...he was a funny guy, very big on
education, loved learning.”
No...that doesn’t make any sense, so it’s almost
certainly NOT true. Generally,
“teens” who are “good students” and “love learning,” are virtually universally
nonviolent. I know that sounds strange, but it’s true!
On the other hand, a LOT of very violent offenders ARE
indeed “funny guys,” at least to those “in their crew.”
