Air Sickness...

Image result for airplanes

Earlier today (March 17th, 2015), an as yet unnamed "unruly passenger" was removed from a United Airlines flight out of Denver, after rushing the cockpit screaming “Jihad! Jihad!”

No other passengers were harmed and no weapons were found on the "unruly passenger."

He was removed from the plane and was being held pending a psychological evaluation.

MEANWHILE

Over this past weekend, a Penn State-Abington professor (52-year-old Karen Halnon) was arrested at Miami International Airport after launching into a loud foreign policy lecture during a flight from Nicaragua. Her rant was captured on video and posted online.

“The United States has declared war on Venezuela!” Ms. Halnon says repeatedly in the video.

“Venezuela has declared a national security threat,” Halnon continues.

“You’re a national security threat,” a passenger responds.

The New Times reported that the incident occurred on a flight from Nicaragua to Miami. Halnon also lit a cigarette on the plane, the New Times reported. “Yes, that was me, and I was actually smoking a cigarette briefly,” Hanlon told Miami’s CBS affiliate. “I took a few puffs out of it...Every other revolutionary smokes.”

Interestingly enough, so does every nut case smoke.
A Penn State-Abington spokesman has said that the university is “aware of Dr. Karen Halnon’s behavior this past weekend on a flight from Nicaragua and is looking into the matter.”

In the first case, it seems that the (to date) unnamed passenger was either very impaired, or mentally ill. The latter case seems to stand as an indictment of the current state of our educational system. We’re educating far too many people who do not appear to be equipped to be educated and then placing them in high positions. A tremendous amount of people major in the Arts and Humanities, English, History, Sociology, etc., specifically because....well, because, quite frankly, they can’t do math. In MANY regards such people are uneducable, and yet we insist on bestowing degrees upon them.

I wonder WHY?

YES, of course, Ms. Halnon could also be mentally ill, just as that first passenger might be, BUT that too would not be at all surprising because so many far-left individuals seem to come from horrifically abusive backgrounds and from families with long histories of mental/emotional illness.

STILL, it’s strange to have TWO such airline incidents in such a short period of time.

Let’s hope it isn't becoming a trend.
