Horror at the Mall of America...

Emmanuel Aranda (R) and 5 y/o Victim

For those of you who may not have seen this, Emmanuel Deshawn Aranda hurled a five y/o child from a 3rd floor balcony in the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Friday, April 12th.

Aranda, 24 had an outstanding warrant on an open assault case and had an order of protection against him, barring him from entering the Mall of America.

Many have made this incident a "racial issue," as Emmanuel Aranda is black, the child is white and it DID NOT appear to be a "random act."

Some correctly note that had the races been reversed, this would've been front page news for the rest of April and the trial coverage would be followed every step of the way.
THAT is correct, BUT it's NOT primarily a racial issue (black Americans don't control the media), it's entirely a political-media class issue. THIS is THEIR agenda - the highlighting of any and every incident that can be construed as "anti black" bigotry, while ignoring the far more prevalent "anti white" bigotry.

All of that is on this archaic and out of touch media, not on any ethnic group.
No, this issue highlights the failure of our justice system to deal with violent crime.
Our misguided "War on Drugs" has failed. We can't even keep illicit drugs out of prisons. The "War on Drugs" is misguided because you CAN'T save self destructive people from themselves.

We CAN and SHOULD look to save decent, law-abiding citizens from violent offenders.

Mandatory sentences and draconian punishments should be reserved for violent felons.

A first violent offense should get a mandatory minimum of 10 years and subsequent sentences would get more and more severe from there and there should be no parole for violent offenses.

It's a disgrace that this wanted felon with an open warrant felt safe enough to walk into a mall he was barred from (not the first time for that either) and commit this cowardly act.

Violating a legal order of protection must come with a harsh penalty itself. Far too many ex spouses and stalking victims have been killed by perpetrators who'd violated such protection orders.

A suspect who violates an order of protection and commits an assault as 1st offenses, should serve 5 years minimum mandatory on violating the order of protection and a consecutive (NOT concurrent) 10 year minimum mandatory on the assault. The penalties should increase exponentially on succeeding violations.

If this had been the case, then Emmanuel Aranda would've been sentenced to at least 15 years (probably more, if he'd had previous violent crime convictions), putting him in prison for at least another 14 years, had he been sentenced last year.

If that had been the case, this attack would've never happened.

We DO badly need criminal justice reform, just not the kind many Liberals/"Progressives" are calling for.

We need mandatory minimums with no parole for violent offenders. We need a return to prisons (reserved for violent offenders) designed to break a convict. Ones with draconian conditions. Ones that DON'T allow them to read, workout, etc. AND we need to scrap our sterile and secreted death penalty for a quicker, more efficient one (hanging, or the guillotine) and one expanded to be used against pedophiles and human traffickers.

This incident highlights our failed criminal justice system more than anything else.

WHY Can't Democrats STOP Kicking Themselves in the Nadlers?...

Image result for Ilhan Omar
Rep. Ilhan Omar

After pro Somali, Somali-American Congresswoman Ilhan Omar characterized 9/11 as, "Some people did something...," the pro American Trump took umbrage at that anti American characterization of that horrific event.

Democrats have reflexively come to Omar's defense, led by an embarrassment from NYC, Gerald Nadler, who said, "He (Trump) has no moral authority to be talking about 9/11 at all." (https://nypost.com/…/democrats-rush-to-omars-defense-after…/)

The New York Democrat told CNN’s Jake Tapper that he'd worked on getting funding for small business grants for victims with businesses that were impacted when the World Trade Center fell.

Yeah so did a LOT of Washington, D.C. and ALL of that was passed and signed into law by a Republican Congress (House & Senate) and a Republican President.

Gerald Nadler had little, to nothing to do with it.

Nadler went on, “The president – he wasn’t president, but Donald Trump actually took a $150,000 grant from the Bush administration,” Nadler said. “He stole $150,000 from some small businessperson who could have used it to help rehabilitate himself.”

THAT last part ("stole") is a LIE and Nadler knows it.

Even Left-leaning fact-checking website Snopes had previously investigated the claim that the president improperly received $150,000 after 9/11 and found that the grant money wasn’t specifically earmarked for small businesses, nor was it improperly accessed by Trump.

Nadler told CNN that he had no problem with how Omar had characterized the attacks by al-Qaida terrorists on 9/11/2001.

There you go, ENOUGH said...

New conservative/nationalist Dutch party comes in first place in provinc...

.

.

In the Netherlands a Nationalist-Right Party Wins!
.
.
While America's pro Globalist/One Worlders talk of a "Globalist multicultural resurgence," the rest of the world moves on...toward Nationalism.

Nationalism amounts to a respect for human diversity, the diversity of mankind's disparate and different cultures, heritages and ethnicities.

The "Globalism"/One Worldism pushed by America's political-media class is a movement opposed to that diversity. One that would plow all of mankind's disparate heritages, cultures and ethnicities under a more homogeneous global culture.

That's probably why Nationalism appeals to far more people. My wife, born and raised in Jamaica, visited Paris with me, some 18 months ago and was distressed at the number of African street peddlers there.

"How much money do you think they earn, doing that," she asked.

"I have no idea," I responded, "Not much, I'd guess."

Then she said, "They don't belong here. When I visit France I want to see French people and French culture."

I thought about that and, while I did agree, I still found that view puzzling coming from her. Then, I realized that she no more wanted the face and culture of France to change, then she'd want to see the face and culture of Jamaica change.

I feel that same way...about BOTH places.

A few months back she'd spoken of a co-worker at her accounting firm, here from Nigeria, who'd said pretty much what John Cleese has said about London, England. Her co-worker said, "When I go back to visit Lagos, I no longer recognize the city I was born in." Sub-Saharan Africa has been flooded with Chinese immigrants over the past 10 years, or so.

EVERYONE respects their culture.

NO ONE happily welcomes demographic and cultural change. It's dislocating and can be jarring to those who've grown up immersed in that original culture.

I think EVERY existing culture in the world is vital. Different people, from different groups, with different cultures, often think differently, increasing the possibility of mankind finding more potential solutions to some of life's most vexing problems and challenges.

That's probably why Nationalism is ascendant now.

Asia had it's own Nationalist Pan Asian movement awhile back. The Arab-Muslim world re-embraced traditional Sharia-based Islam in it's own Nationalist movement. Sub-Saharan Africa has been persecuting and in some places (Zimbabwe) expelling its white populations as African Nationalism has swept that country.

Over the past decade, Europe has seen the rise of a vehement Euro Nationalism in response to a million-plus migrant invasion, mostly from Muslim countries.

To date Euro Nationalism has been led by the likes of Hungary's Viktor Orban, Poland's Description Andrzej Duda, Austria's Sebastian Kurz, and Italy's Matteo Salvini, France is leaning more Nationalist, as is Spain and Finland and most recently, the Dutch have given a two year old Conservative Nationalist Party sweeping wins across that country's 12 Provinces. That new ruling Party didn't even exist in 2015!

Here's an interesting video on those recent Dutch elections;

Interesting Video as Bill Maher's Support for "Principle," as in Unfettered Free Speech Triggers Guests...

.

.

Free speech has been under attack for a long time, in America. Ironically enough, it's been primarily confined to College campuses.

Now the media is embracing the idea that "offensive," "controversial" and "unpopular" speech should be responded to with violence.

Shows like "The Good Fight," lionize that view and on Bill Maher's show, guests strongly supported that view as well, rebuffing Maher's support for defending basic principles, like freedom of expression.

The 1st Amendment was written specifically to protect controversial, offensive, unpopular, even seditious speech, as all of America's Founders were guilty of sedition before the Revolution, and treason, once they signed the Declaration of Independence.

There WAS a time when America's Left supported unfettered free speech. That was when the Left DIDN'T want Marxists and other Collectivist voices silenced.

That is no longer the case. Now that far Left views predominate in our media and among political "Progressives," they no longer support freedom of expression for those who disagree.

That's why America's Left no longer holds any claim to any "moral high ground."

More White Antifa Screwballs Calling a Black Woman a..."Racist"

.

.

THIS is where America's Left is today.

Candace Owens is 100% right about Antifa being "the new KKK."

That probably goes a long way toward explaining why so many of these white Leftists so easily switch to become white supremacists.

Jason Kessler was an Occupy Wall Street activist and an Obama volunteer before forming Unite the Right.

Richard Spencer was an Obama supporter and a self-proclaimed Socialist before coming out as a white supremacist.

Remember how high profile Antifa and BLM were a few years ago?

Not so much any more...

Seeing this, I DON'T wonder why.

Another Case of "Well Intentioned" Government Abuse...

.

.

This is a tragic tale from Mesa, Arizona.
A family took their young child to a doctor with a high fever. The Dr. suggested they take the child with a 105 temperature to the Emergency Room.

When they got back to their car, the child seemed to be feeling better and they took his temperature again and it had dropped significantly.

That wasn't good enough for Child Protective Services, whom the doctor had to notify under a new AZ law.

When CPS found the family hadn't taken the child to the Emergency Room, instead of calling them, or sending someone to do a welfare check, they got a warrant and had Police forcibly remove the children from the home.

Rep. Kelly Townsend, R-Mesa, who helped craft the legislation requiring DCS to obtain a warrant before removing a child from their parents or guardians in non-emergency circumstances, said she was outraged by the response of police and DCS officials in the case. (https://www.azcentral.com/…/questions-due-proce…/3223829002/)

Many people are focused on the over-the-top Police response, but the fault is ENTIRELY with CPS and the court system. The Police were mandated to carry out the directives on that warrant. That's why I don't like, or agree with the title of the video.

It's NOT cops kidnapping children, but CPS and local government.

THIS is the kind of incident that has more and more regular Americans distrusting their own government.

This sort of abuse has to be reined in before a majority of the people start seeing their government as their enemy.

What's the Crime? Where's the Reasonable Suspicion?

.

.

Surveillance CAN work both ways and that's good.

In fact, sometimes Surveillance can be used against the Surveillor, as it seems to have been in this case.

Two Fort Meyers Police Officers responded a local 7-Eleven at 12:39 p.m. on April 15th, 2018, in response to a disorderly, intoxicated male, where they encountered Holley Jones who was shopping in the store. (https://amp-news--press-com.cdn.ampproject.org/…/2972065002…). Holley appeared neither drunk, nor disorderly.

No reference was made to Jones being that person prior to their contact with him. Moreover, when the Officers asked the store cashier if she wanted Mr. Holley removed, she answered, "No."

Despite that, the Officers asked to speak with Jones outside, a request to which he initially complied, but he apparently became suspicious of the Officer's intent when they demanded he stand in front of the bumper of their Police car, at which point, he re-entered the store, with the two Officers in pursuit.

At this point, Mr. Jones was NOT under arrest. He'd committed no crime, nor did there appear to be any reasonable suspicion on the Officer's part, as Holley Jones DID NOT appear to be neither drunk, nor, in any way disorderly.

Once back inside the store, one of the Officers tased Mr. Holley and he was arrested on disturbing the peace, resisting arrest without violence and possession charges, which were all subsequently dropped.

A court has already ruled that the use of the taser was unnecessary and the arrest improper.

Mr. Jones is suing Fort Meyers and the two Officers for excessive force, wrongful arrest and malicious prosecution.

Sometimes Police make mistakes. Sometimes they act improperly, but that job is like that of a Surgeon's - there are no "Whoops!" You can't make errors when making life and death decisions.

This is also proof as to why AVOIDING any confrontation with Police is ALWAYS best. Once an individual confronts a cop, that confrontation easily escalates and once a civilian physically fights with a cop...they're in the wrong.

Had Holley Jones sought to fight with the Police, he'd have lost all legal standing in this incident.

Surveillance CAN cut both ways and if increased surveillance keeps more people on their "best behavior," that's a good thing all around.

Yet More on Darling & Dykstra...

Image result for Ron Darling
Ron Darling

Ron Darling is reported to be taking a leave of absence from his job at SNY for health reasons (https://nypost-com.cdn.ampproject.org/…/ron-darling-t…/amp/…), which is always a sad situation.

It seems unrelated to his recent legal woes, but it certainly clears him to focus both on his health, case well as the coming lawsuit, without other distractions.

IF Dennis Boyd (the Red Sox pitcher), or Wally Backman (the on deck batter) had backed up Darling's account, then the truth would've been the best possible defense for such an accusation.

Unfortunately, neither Dennis "Oil Can" Boyd, nor Wally Backman have been much help. Boyd has said he doesn't recall the alleged tirade and Backman said it never happened.

Couple that with Ron Darling having mentioned the incident in a previous book, but without any alleged racial aspect, and add to that the fact that Darryl Strawberry, Doc Gooden and Kevin Mitchell (all black men) also defend Len Dykstra, it would seem Ron Darling has a problem.

How big of a problem?

Someone asked me what I think Len Dykstra's damages would be?

I have no idea. An attorney might guess, a judge might have an idea...but I'm neither and so, I just don't know.

He isn't an active MLB player. He wasn't fired from a ball club over this, nor has Dykstra been a high profile pitchman, losing sponsors and ad revenues over this, so there's no apparent loss of income.
His credibility?

His many legal troubles have eroded that already, besides, like Charles Barkley, Len Dykstra has a "bad boy" image.

Seriously, if some teammate wrote that Sir Charles went off on a "racist rant" against whites, or Asians, how would that hurt Barkley's "bad boy" image?

In fact he'd probably sell a ton of books next time he penned one.

SAME with Dykstra. I think more people would want to read an account from Dykstra, rather than Darling's.

So, what are Len Dykstra's damages?

They appear to be minimal, but a court will have to decide that, BUT even if he won $1 it'd at least clear his name from the ugly charges Ron Darling has made against him, which no other Mets appear to support.

As for Darling, both his credibility and character are at stake here. If he's shown to have made up that ugly charge to sell books, both his character and his believability take big hits. That could potentially hurt book sales and possibly lead to SNY cutting ties with him.

There appear to be no winners in this, which is sad, considering they were once teammates on a World Series winning ball club.

You Have to Wonder Where This Woman Came From...

.

.

It appears as though Candace Owens has come out of nowhere.

About two years ago, Candace Owens posted one of her first YouTube videos that compared a young black woman admitting to her parents that she was a lesbian, compared to coming out as a Conservative. (https://youtu.be/dgKc-2rFcRw)

It was poignant and very funny...extremely well done.

Before that, by her own admission, she was a Liberal/Leftist who never thought about why...it was just what she'd been born into and a part of who she was.

Her ideological journey has been a strange one, no doubt considering she'd been the victim of an anti black hate crime herself.

"In 2007, when she was a 17-year-old high school student in her hometown of Stamford, Connecticut. In February of that year, a group of white [males] from her school reportedly left voicemails on her cell phone in which they used racial slurs and threatened to kill her.

NAACP official Scot X. Esdaile, center, and then-17-year-old Candace Owens speak to members of the media in 2007.

“They started off by telling me that they were going to kill me ‘just because’ I was black,” Owens wrote in an open letter about the incident in 2016. “They warned me that if they found me at home, they were going to unload a bullet into the back of my head. They cited other ‘niggers’ who had died before me, like Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks. They threatened to ‘tar and feather’ my family.”

One of Owens’ alleged harassers was the son of then-Stamford mayor Daniel Malloy (D-CT), who became Connecticut’s governor from 2011 - 2019. Ultimately, with the help of the NAACP, Owens’ father settled a lawsuit against Stamford Public Schools for $37,500 in 2008."

She is certainly a gifted speaker, who isn't hesitant to take on detractors.

Here she takes on the "victim mindset" that tends to cripple those who hold to it.

She also talks about how the charge of "racist" and "white supremacist" are often used by opponents to (1) shut down discussion and (2) get others to dismiss views those opponents object to.

She pointed out that Milo Yiannopoulos has been called a "white supremacist," despite being Married to a black man and she, herself has been called the same, despite being...well, black.

None of that makes any sense.

In some ways, Leftist Globalist/One World policies have moved a growing number of young black Americans toward Conservatism, as they claim, "Democrats are putting ILLEGAL immigrants ahead of black Americans."

Her recent testimony before Congress taking on Representatives Lieu and Nadler has raised her profile even more.

Like her, or not, she's become a force to be reckoned with.

THIS is Racism...

Image result for Joacine Katar Moreira
Joacine Katar Moreira

This is the face of the new, "accepted" racism/bigotry in the West.

Joacine Katar Moreira an African woman running for the EU Parliament in Portugal states, "Europe is not white."

WHY is that racist?

WHERE'S the bigotry in THAT?

Imagine then, a Chilean immigrant running for office in Ghana (as if that could happen), claiming, "Sub-Saharan Africa is NOT black."

Imagine a blonde, English woman running for office in China saying, "China is NOT Asian and there can be no democracy in China until ethnic minorities (like the English blonde) are engaged in Chinese government."

Those images are absurd, right?

Just as absurd as Joacine Katar Moreira running for political office in Europe, which is as "WHITE," as Sub-Saharan Africa is "BLACK."

The Muslim invasion of Europe serves s purpose and was planned.

It has turned once Liberal, tolerant Europe inward. A growing Nationalism, along with a more worrisome intolerance is spreading across Europe. Nationalism is acknowledging the value of different cultures, ethnicities, heritages. There is nothing innately intolerant about that kind of Nationalism.  Ironically enough, the Globalism/One Worldism that has been predominant in the West until recently sews the seeds of discord in its seeing the cultural and ethnic diversity of mankind as a threat, or at least "a barrier to unity."

Other regions are in the grip of that same worrisome intolerance. South Africa is threatening its white population. It's NOT that South Africa wants to expel them, in fact, despite the fact that Ukraine, New Zealand and other countries are willing to take in South Africa's whites, that country DOES NOT want to allow the whites there to leave.

All of this is part of some larger plan.
What the ultimate end game is, remains unknown to those of just living in the pool, not managing it.

My wife, born and raised in Jamaica, visited Paris with me, some 18 months ago and was distressed at the number of African street peddlers there.

"How much money do you think they earn, doing that," she asked.

"I have no idea," I responded, "Not much, I'd guess."

I think EVERY existing culture in the world is vital, as well. Different people, from different groups, with different cultures, often think differently, increasing the possibility of mankind finding more potential solutions to some of life's most vexing problems and challenges.

A more unified and ultimately more homogeneous globe would eradicate those differences and, in turn, eradicate those valuable, different perspectives.

A GREAT Clip!...

.

.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar was an astoundingly great basketball player. Same number of NBA Championships as Michael Jordan (6). Jabbar made scoring look effortless and his defense altered almost every shot in the games in which he played.

After watching then Lew Alcindor dominate in his first year of College, the NCAA rules committee banned the dunk in 1967. The prohibition lasted until 1975 and was called "The Alcindor Rule."

As a result, he developed the "Sky Hook," which became his signature shot. It was virtually impossible to stop.

How dominant do you have to be to have the NCAA ban the dunk shot because of...YOU?

THAT'S how great Kareem Abdul Jabbar was.

In this interview, he displays both his humility and class. He says, "Those who think Michael Jordan is the greatest player ever, probably never saw Oscar Robertson, or Jerry West play."

Oscar "The Big O" Robertson was a triple double machine throughout his career. Jerry West was "Mr. Clutch" during his.

A strong case could be made for Robertson and also for Bill Russell (11 NBA Championships in 13 years, 11 of 12 in the NBA Finals), as the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time), although I couldn't put either over Kareem Abdul Jabbar.
In fact, aside from Jabbar, at least individually, perhaps the BEST case can be made for Wilt Chamberlain.

Wilt Chamberlain averaged over 50 ppg one NBA season. He set an NBA record of 100 points (against the NY Knicks) in a single game, then averaged over 25 rebounds per game in another season - he averaged 22.9 rebounds per game for his entire CAREER!

Among Wilt Chamberlain's records STILL standing are;

NBA record: Most career regular-season 60-point games (32)...Kobe Bryant is second with 6.

NBA record: Most career regular-season 50-point games (118)...Michael Jordan is second with 31.

NBA record: Most career regular-season 40-point games (271)...Michael Jordan is second with 173.

Chamberlain may have also had a near perfect NBA game, a rare quadruple double!

"If you are familiar with Wilt’s unbelievable stats then you are probably wondering what’s so insane about a 22/21 game.

"It’s insane because the second 20 was 21 assists for the dominant center. Yes, Wilt Chamberlain had a 20/20 game with assists during his 1967-68 MVP season.

"Now that those numbers have registered in your head, I’ll let you know that Wilt also had 25 rebounds in that game.

"Now that those numbers have registered in your head, I’ll let you know he also had unofficially 12 blocks! I’m saying unofficially because the NBA didn’t officially count blocks back then.

"So if you count the blocks that Wilt said he had during that game, his final stat line looks like this: 22 points, 25 rebounds, 21 assists, 12 blocks!

"More unbelievable than those numbers is the fact that Wilt led the league in total assists that season!"

If you're measuring "the best ever" by shear individual dominance, then the NBA's triumvirate is almost certainly Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell and Kareem Abdul Jabbar! Michael Jordan and Oscar Robertson, may well round out the top 5.

NONE of that three gets anywhere near the credit they deserve today.
