Are Colin Kaepernick's "BLM-inspired Protests" Genuine, or Are They a Shield Against Poor Play?

Is Colin Kaepernick the Right Man to Represent the BLM Movement?

Without thinking about, or even trying, most grassroots movements wind up being fronted by wealthy politicians or athletes/entertainers with little understanding of the issues and connection to the issues they ultimately, through mass media focus, come to represent.

This seems to be the case with Colin Kaepernick’s recent engagement with the Black Lives matter (BLM) movement.

The problem with the BLM movement itself ISN’T with the basic concept of “black lives mattering,” BUT the complete misunderstanding and misrepresentation of police/minority interactions that movement has so often actively engaged in. Overlooking inconvenient facts like over 3/4s of those killed by police are NOT black, and that over 40% of cop killers ARE black…and that blacks (12% of the population) have committed over 50% of all homicides nationwide since 1976; See:http://workingclassconservative.blogspot.com/2016/09/anti-police-hatred.html?m=1 facts that no one has yet challenged, the entire issue of negative police interactions is demeaned.

Fact is, almost all of those killed by police have been attacking police when killed, including Michael Brown (Ferguson, MO.), the original model for the BLM movement. Brown was NOT shot for “robbing a store,” but for charging a police cruiser, struggling over that officer’s gun, which amounts to, “Attempted Murder of a Police Officer. That’s why Mike Brown was shot & killed, he fought with a cop, struggled for that cop’s gun...and was rightfully shot for that.

Ironically enough there have been some actual questionable shootings over this period, like that of John Crawford III(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqZ-teZsZmo) in an Ohio Walmart (over a malicious 911 call by another shopper) and James Boyd, a homeless man shot & killed for “illegal camping” in Albuquerque, NM. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tpAZObNZfI) Of course, James Boyd was white and didn’t fit the BLM narrative and despite the fact that video evidence resulted in the conviction of 2 of those cops for murder.

I don’t have any problem with folks like Colin Kaepernick protesting. I DOhave a huge problem with people like him NOT being engaged and informed enough, even curious enough to know the actual facts. I also would have an even bigger problem, IF, as some have suggested, Kaepernick is using this issue as a shield against possibly being cut. He’s lost his starting job to Blaine Gabbert, NOT Brett Favre in his prime, but journeyman, Blaine Gabbert and a rookie QB may have passed him on the depth chart.

I hope Kaepernick is on the level with this, but even if he is truly devoted to the issue, he doesn’t seem to have a real understanding of the facts surrounding police shootings and that’s a problem.

Sexual "Sins" and the Abuse of Religion

Image result for religion and sexual sinsImage result for religion and sexual sins

Every one of the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) condemn various "sexual sins."

TODAY, followers tend to arbitrarily condemn some of those "Biblical sins," and NOT others. Islam, Orthodox Judaism and Islam all condemn homosexuality (Islam actually criminalizes it) and female adultery (again, Islam punishes adulteresses with death by stoning).

Of course, all those old books ALSO condemned masturbation and sex for any purpose other than procreation...BUT today's fundamentalists tend to overlook that.

Traditional Islam criminalizes homosexuality and female adultery, Orthodox Judaism condemns those and fundamentalist Christians also condemn those two "sins," without pushing for equal condemnation of promiscuity, self-stimulation and sex for any purpose but procreation.

WHY?

Well, most likely because the ancients were in full on "Survival Mode," today...not so much. In fact, many worry about the reverse, over-population.

So, why are homosexuality and female adultery condemned and other "sexual sins" mostly ignored? Probably because most religious leaders are men...and men don't much like female adultery, nor homosexuality.

I've always wondered how the punishing of such "sins" is justified, given that, even while adultery and homosexuality may be repulsive to some, WHERE'S the actual CRIME?!

Indeed, in many Third World, predominantly Muslim countries, adulteresses and homosexuals take their lives in their hands, but even in the U.S. there are many who continue to insist that homosexuality and transgenderism are..."choices."

Seriously?!

How many people does anyone reading this know, who've suddenly decided to "try out" homosexuality...just for kicks, or to annoy their strict family?

I can't think of ANY myself and I find the entire concept to be pretty much ridiculous and yet Dr. Ben Carson (neurosurgeon) floated that in his Presidential campaign and now a Johns Hopkins Psychiatrist, Paul McHugh has jumped into the fray declaring "transgenderism to be a mental disorder." (http://www.cnsnews.com/…/johns-hopkins-psychiatrist-transge…).

Here's where Dr. McHugh is right, sex reassignment surgery DOES NOT actually change a male into a female, or vice versa. Despite any such surgical procedure, the subject STILL maintains their original genetics, either XX (female), or XY (male).

That said, there do seem to exist a number of people who legitimately seem to believe they were born into the "wrong bodies."

WHY would anyone CHOOSE to face the ostracism and scorn that generally accompanies such a decision?

The choice idea, doesn't make any sense, nor does the mental illness aspect.

There has long been indications that homosexuality increases when humans face overpopulation. (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/…/is-homosexuality-populati_b…)

Is that true?

That's hard to say, but there does seem to be some evidence for that. STILL, regardless of how objectionable anyone may find SOME of these ancient "sexual sins," WHERE is the actual crime?

Whom is harmed by the actions of consenting adults?

How is adultery anything other than an egregious breach of trust between two people and of no greater societal, let alone criminal import?

Religion can be a positive force in the lives of those who strive to find a more spiritual path, and to look to "treat others, as they themselves would like to be treated," BUT it can also be abused by those who'd turn into a team sport ("US" against "them") and use to attempt to control the behaviors of others.

Therein seems to lie the problem.

IF THIS is Huma Abedin's Agenda...Then it's Hillary's Too

For a dozen years Hillary's Chief Aide, Huma Abedin was an Assistant Editor for the Saudi-based and funded Journal of Minority Muslim Affairs, where her mother, Saleha Mahmood Abedin, remains editor-in-chief.

According to an article by Paul Sprerry in Sunday's NY Post, "The journal supported a strict interpretation of Islamic Sharia laws, which call for beheadings, require women to cover their bodies and faces and advocate death for “infidels” - which in their view includes just about everyone but the most extreme religious hardliners.

The publication also blamed the US for the 9/11 terror attacks, which were carried out largely by Saudi nationals.

Typical fare in the publication includes a 1996 piece titled “Women’s Rights Are Islamic Rights,” which argues that single moms, working moms and gay couples with children should not be recognized as families.

It also maintained that revealing dress “directly translates into unwanted results of sexual promiscuity and irresponsibility and indirectly promote violence against women.” (http://nypost.com/…/huma-abedin-denies-active-role-at-radi…/)

Huma Abedin is often described by Hillary Clinton as her “second daughter.” IF the Saudi agenda is Huma's agenda...then it very definitely is Hillary Clinton's too!

Race-Obsessed CNN Links Felon Voting to "Black votes"

WHY does CNN continue to do this?

EVERYTHING is race with CNN, ever since George Soros "invested" $2.1 BILLION into CNN about 30 months ago. Soros has given lavishly to the anti-Law Enforcement group Black Lives Matter. They too advance the "Soros Agenda."

CNN's been called on this from Left & Right, but this is what happens when you're so obsessed with race, or religion, or the environment that every issue must be used as a weapon to advance a bought-and-paid for agenda.

Just saying.

CAIR Threatens Legal Action Over Trump's Plan to Create a Commission to Define Radical Islam

Image result for Trump and CAIR

CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) has made clear that their stated view is, "[Identifying] for Americans, the tenets of ‘radical Islam’ crosses the line into government interference in religious beliefs..." (http://thefederalistpapers.org/us/us-muslims-issue-unprecedented-threat-to-trump)

Do you get that? They're claiming that ANY governmental investigation, aimed at DEFINING what, exactly, are to be considered "radical" or "jihadist" beliefs or principles is Unconstitutional.

The 1st Amendment doesn't protect criminal activity under the guise of religion, nor does it protect religious beliefs from criminal sanctions when they violate State or Federal laws.

Some truth about what CAIR really is, seems necessary. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has designated CAIR a terrorists and includes them on a list of Muslim Brotherhood affiliated groups.

In 2009, a federal judge found that CAIR is connected to the Islamic terrorist organization Hamas that seeks the destruction of Israel through jihad.

This is NOT a decent group with decent goals and aspirations. CAIR is "An enemy within."

Anti-Police Hatred

Image result for anti-policeImage result for anti-police

It’s hard to believe that so many people who claim to “like” the government, also claim to “hate” those in law enforcement. In fact, law enforcement IS government. Enacting and ENFORCING LAWS is the primary role of government. It’s NOT “helping the poor,” doling out free stuff, low-interest rate student loans, section-8 housing vouchers, food stamps, paving roads, inspecting foods, etc.

The primary functions of government are the enacting and enforcing of LAW and levying and collecting the myriad taxes necessary for government to continue to function. As a result, law enforcement (the government’s army of local, state and federal police, its court officers, corrections officers, government’s prosecutors, defense attorneys (“legal aid”) and judges are one of the largest groups of public (government) employees.

Here’s the thing, NO ONE much likes cops, or the government, for that matter, when they’ve broken the law, have to pay taxes, or get denied for various benefits. Cops, especially represent authority...government’s authority.

If you don’t like the police, or feel the laws are “unfair,” your real problem is with the government. In fact, your REAL problem is most likely YOURSELF, because if you’re constantly finding yourself breaking the law, you’re probably a dysfunctional person.

Therein lies the problem with the “Black Lives Matter” movement, it’s issues aren’t with allegedly “rogue cops,” but with law enforcement itself and to a larger extent it’s a bigoted anti-white movement, started by two devotees of cop-killer, Joanne Chesimard. Moreover, it has been used to defend the most extreme criminal elements (thugs who attack arresting police officers).

According to the Washington Post’s database on this issue, in 2015 officers killed 662 whites and Hispanics, and 258 blacks. (The overwhelming majority of all those police-shooting victims were attacking the officer, often with a gun.) Using the 2014 homicide numbers as an approximation of 2015’s, those 662 white and Hispanic victims of police shootings would make up 12% of all white and Hispanic homicide deaths. That is three times the proportion of black deaths that result from police shootings.

Beyond that, police officers, of all backgrounds, are disproportionately endangered by black assailants. Over the past decade, according to FBI data, 40% of cop killers have been black. Officers are killed by blacks at a rate 2.5 times higher than the rate at which blacks are killed by police.

Another major factor in such police encounters is that violent crimes are disproportionately committed by blacks. According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, blacks were charged with 62% of all robberies, 57% of murders and 45% of assaults in the 75 largest U.S. counties in 2009, though they made up roughly 15% of the population there. NONE of that is due to “misreporting of crimes.” Crime victims generally don’t lie about their attackers, because they want their attackers caught. It’s also NOT due to any “over-policing” of minority areas, as those areas are not any more highly policed than poor white and Hispanic areas. Those stats accurately portray America’s crime rates by group.

Two things seem to be needed to address the issue of negative interactions with police, (1) much harsher sentences for resisting arrest (merely backing away from an arresting officer, now often charged as a misdemeanor, SHOULD be elevated to a felony) and assaulting a police officer should require a mandatory sentence that is NOT allowed to be plea-bargained, AND (2) better, more effective non-lethal weaponry should be given to police, so that uncooperative suspects can be immediately incapacitated, packaged and transported to their ultimate destination, either a jail cell or a psych center for evaluation.

Another tool that appears promising is the external computer controls now installed on all Tesla automobiles. That program allows a car to be stopped and the doors and windows locked from the outside on all vehicles it’s installed in. That technology should be mandated on all motor vehicles so all police chases (suspects attempting to elude police by vehicle) will be eliminated.

Most people dislike police when they get caught doing something wrong. Ironically enough, it’s often the people most dependent upon government who resent it the most. This issue has yet to be accurately addressed in our media. Negative interactions with police CANNOT be effectively discussed absent a detailed discussion about the differing violent crime rates in America.

Since new non-lethal technologies are being worked on and still years away from being universal, the 1st step must be to mandate much harsher sentences for things like resisting arrest and assaulting a law enforcement officer. Those penalties must be made severe and barred from plea bargaining.
