Looks Like It's NO DEAL in Copenhagen!

According to the London Times, the Copenhagen climate change negotiations have stalled, and they’re poised to put off a decision for at least six years!

Amazingly enough, it wasn’t the pseudo-science and outright fakery proved by the released CTU emails, it was the ridiculous demands of some 50 sub-Saharan African nations that killed any hope of a global climate deal.

According to the London Times, “The key decision on preventing catastrophic climate change will be delayed for up to six years if the Copenhagen summit delivers a compromise deal which ignores advice from the UN’s science body.

“World leaders will not agree on the emissions cuts recommended by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and are likely instead to commit to reviewing them in 2015 or 2016.”

Cop 15, an environmental group from Copenhagen, has reported that leaders of fifty African nations came to Copenhagen asking $400 billion for the next three years to "offset" carbon credit "damages" which they claim to have suffered. Inexplicably, two days ago, that demand was increased to an astounding 5% of America’s GDP (gross domestic product), estimated at $722 billion....from the United States alone.

Thankyou Africa!

AlGore exposed his own fraud and stupidity at Dopenhagen's Crime-ate CONference, but the demands from those African nations exposed the Jesse Jacksonesque shakedown the CONference was really meant to be.

Al Gore is a enviro-profiteer. A guy looking to cash in on carbon offsets, that are functionally worthless.

According to Howard Bloom, in today's Wall Strret Journal;"In the two million years during which we climbed from stone-tool wielding Homo erectus with sloping brows to high-foreheaded Homo urbanis, man the inventor of the city, we underwent 60 glaciations, 60 ice ages. And in the 120,000 years since we emerged in our current physiological shape as Homo sapiens, we've lived through 20 sudden global warmings. In most of those, temperatures have shot up by as much as 18 degrees within a mere 20 years.

"All this took place without smokestacks and tailpipes. All this took place without the desecration of nature by modern man."

(Howard Bloom, a Visiting Scholar at New York University, is founder of the International Paleo-psychology Project, executive editor of the New Paradigm book series, a founding board member of the Epic of Evolution Society, and a member of the New York Academy of Sciences, the National Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Psychological Society, the Human Behavior and Evolution Society, The International Society of Human Ethology, and the Academy of Political Science.)

As for the demands of sub-Saharan Africa, I'm glad their extortion attempt has stalled the talks.

Apparently the "pantsing" by those hackers who exposed the CTU fraud (the CTU's "research" is the foundation of the anthropomorphic global warming theory) for what it is, didn't derail the talks, so if the excessive demands of Mugabe and company does, I'll take that in a pinch.

how dumb does obama look for insisting on participating in this nonsense. is it that he has no intelligent people in his circle or he just ignores them?

high-five to africa! woo-hoo!

Anthropomorphic global warming (AGW) is a core tenet of the Left because it underscores the NEED for the UN to be given the powers to tax and redistribute wealth (act as a world government).

That's why the pseudo-scientists at the British CTU (all bought and paid for with BILLIONS in UN-driven grants) fudged data and sought to keep those real scientists who had evidence that contradicted the theory of AGW from being published in peer reviewed publications.
In going to Copenhagen, Barack Obama was merely paying homage to his Leftist roots.

Some have excoriated sub-Saharan frica for its "greed", but it was merely a matter of testing the market on their parts - when offered $100 BILLION/year (USD) for nothing, why not demand $750 BILLION (USD)/year?

The funny thing is listening to American Liberals try and spin the disaster (for them) in Copenhagen as a "win!" All they got was a promise to re-examine the issue within five years.

I've been humbled and grateful to you and so many other online friends.

As I've said, I especially like your blog and your personal story about how you came to find your own real voice.

Conservtism is growing because of people like you and Robin (at CBW blog) and Clifton (at ABC blog) and so many others.

I don't think the freak blizzard helped much. Heh. But libs need not fear, BO is working away at handing over our sovereignty to the U. N. global government dream: http://www.dianawest.net/Home/tabid/36/EntryId/1186/White-House-Stonewalling-on-Obamas-Executive-Order-Unleashing-Interpol.aspx

hi JMK..and now the govt wants to regulate our water use!..argg!! HAPPY NEW YEAR MY FRIEND!..I went dancing.woohoo!:)

JMK said...

Yeah Fuzzy, the blizzard wasn't the backdrop needed, but the EPA's assuming the right to regulate CO2 emissions may have the same effect (greatly increasing energy costs)...

We're heading down a VERY bad road, of course, there's always the option of reversing course....and the more people this administration alienates the easier that goal gets.

Same Maria...and THANKYOU for your kind always thoughts!

And Happy New Year to you as well Angel...

The more oppressive government gets the more incentive it gives to real change...MORE freedom/individual responsibility, in short, the hyper-individualism America's Founders espoused and today's Left reviles!
