That’s right, as we speak, U.S. Gunboats and AC-130's (pictured right) are off the coast of Somalia pounding remnants of the al Qaeda forces that had previously taken Mogadishu.
And of course by “al Qaeda,” we mean “proponents of the religion of peace” and by “pounding” we mean…well, shelling them into submission (a/k/a DEATH), but since we don’t want to say “death” in front of the children or "proponents of the religion of peace," we prefer to use the more PC term “submission."
Hmmmm, just an errant thought, but since this ass-pounding has seemed to work so well (al Qaeda remnants in Somalia are now suing for peace), while our “peace-keeping” and “nation-building” efforts in Iraq have appeared to have stalled, maybe we should consider, uhhhh, maybe expanding the ass-kicking a bit.

If you believe me some kind of Evangelical Christian Conservative, you've got me all wrong.
I have no truck against Christians at all, I even went to Catholic School for twelve years, but I'm not a Christian per se, though I do consider myself "spiritual," though without denomination.
The "disaster" the world faces today is coming from outside America.
We ignored a relentless war waged against us by Sharia-based Islam for over ten years and only reluctantly engaged it after 9/11/01 - even now, it's only just beginning.
We are currently at war with global Sharia-based Islam, NOT "terrorism," NOT even "radicalized Islam," but the global forces of Sharia-based Islam.
I'd argue that the consequences of us losing the current war against global Sharia-based Islam are even more dire than had we lost to Nazi Germany & Imperial Japan.
Could we lose this current war?
Absolutely and without question!
Western Europe is already becoming increasingly Muslim and critics like the late Orianna Falacci were right to warn that "right now, most of Europe is on the fast track to becoming "Eurabia," a Muslim continent, ruled by Sharia-Law."
The so-called "radical Islamists" aren't the problem, except in places like Aghanistan, Iraq, Iran and Somalia.
It WAS NOT "radical Islamists" or al Qaeda members who initiated the genocide in Kosovo, which prompted Milocevic's equally genocidal response.
It IS NOT "radical Muslims" who are engaged in systematic rape and genocide in Darfur in the Sudan.
It IS NOT "radical Muslims" who are clashing with Hindus over Kashmir.
And it IS NOT "radical Muslims" who are clashing with Catholics in the Philippines and Indonesia.
It's also NOT "radical Muslims" pushing for Sharia-Law in England, France, Italy and other bastions of Western Europe.
Can this war be lost?
Absolutely.
Any "negotiated settlement" reached by this country and the forces of global Sharia-based Islam would amount to a surrender document on our part.
There's no question about that.
I believe that when the smoke clears from this current war, perhaps 100 years or more from now, I'd be surprised if our planet reached that point with even half its current population (maybe 3 Billion)...I think an earth with anything more than 3 Billion people at that point would be, quite frankly, nothing short of astounding.
I know some (many?) people in the West don't see that yet, there are even some who don't even believe this war is "for real," but they will, soon enough.
If things continue as they are, it won't be long before we see stonings and beheadings in major cities in Western Europe as a routine matter of course.
Should Europe eventually fall to Sharia, it would make America's standing up to the global Muslim menace that much more difficult and the will in this country to forge some sort of truce, or settlement (SURRENDER) would be great.
It's hard for me to fathom how anyone can't see that.
